Bowman ive been today to a A/C shop (suplyying 1/2 of warsaw) and talked a little with the sellers and asked them a question about low temp freons... They said that R23 costs 25-30$ per kilogram, i only need to have my own container.. Are freons SO expensive in the US ?? I thought that Poland is the worst place on earth...
ok first off dont take this wrong...i am a proud american ,but politcs in the USA is trerrible.politicians have voted the extra tax on all cfc refrigerants to make people retro fitt to other non-cfc refrigeraants.the tax is so high as to make you change your mind.Quote:

i bet 75% of ther price of cfc refrigerants is TAX....
we do get TAXED to death over here.you pay tax when you get you paycheck,you pay tax on what you buy,and if you sell it you pay tax again.and there is a tax on dieing too.you die and your dependants have to pay tax on what you give them.....
Hmm i understand you very well ;] Its like gasoline in poland, 1/10 of the price is gasoline and if it was very good for that price.. no, you get cheated gasoline (the use perfumes, alcohol, oil and everything that burns as 98 high q gasoline) so most of the cars die... n/c.. everything is the same...
And that's just the visible taxes. Every tax on a business goes into the price of their product or service, so you end up paying those, too. Then there are all of the regulations, which add to the prices.Quote:

ya i had worked my ass off one week and pulled in like 65hrs a week...which was a net of like 4500 and i only took home a little less then 3k i was expecting it but i mean where does all my money go?

well i will be posting some pics tonight,after i get back from picking up some more supplies for on i am doing something special too.
i have a double decker prom i am finishing up tonight if all goes well.i will be posting pics of that baby as well as one with bakers block that i had to calibrate the 10k themistor i used to the carel controller.so if i remeber i will post the resistor i am using to use a std 10k thermistor with the stock prom controller,as that is the same one i made a custom mouting head for.finial pics on that.
i hope by tommorow i will be testing that one on a live p4 board and see how it does.:D before i ship it out.

sorry guys,went out and saw a friend while i was out(woman friend)so i didnt get home until late.;)
but got up early and been working all morning.got the double prom done just about, amd dale yours is running now on a load block.i am tring to get the prom controller calibrated right.when i set it for the right low temps the hgh is off slightly.will take some more fine tuning.it reads now -47c when it actually is -53c but no alarms...
anyways here is a pic of the double prom
well forgot i took a pic of the evaperator cover being fitted to a 8rda for fitt testing,you can see the almost finished cooler head here

i personally believe the best nothbridge cooler period.
and it will mount to p4 boards with a small modification:D

the bottom one has a baker gpu block and the top is a mach II 404 mod.
the bottom is a mach I that i have a hard time on getting the evap just right to work with a radeon in a case.i have to do it twice for it to work right with one over the other.
I bought one of those Northpole NB coolers...wish I could afford two, but I have a cheapo stock aluminum HS/F I can use also.:D
It's (Northpole) going in the Asus Pent4 setup. ;)

was running last test on a mach II ( in that dual prom was shipping out tommorow) i have and the fuse blew.i drove 40 miles one way to a radio shack (since i wanted to ship it tommorow)and all they has was a 4amp fuse and the unit takes a 6.3amp...auuuugh.well a wasted trip.and it is dead without it.
i did buy some 4 amp while i was there hopping it didnt need the 6.3a and although it made it come right to life...as soon as the compressor starts.it blows.......
o well next. i guess i just waiting on fuses now on that one.i had to order the fuse from radio shack online.
always something.life is just too easy sometimes i guess.
cant you hard wire it ? ^^
