Well, the ES samples of Intel are spread around the world :).
Basicly, these Axxxx steppings are qualification steppings? ES samples of AMD are known to be held at the factory.
CPUs like your are definately ES's. My guess is that the later ES's are those Axxxx chips with the core voltage written on the bottom of the chip.Quote:
