:welcome: back muddy. Back to reality pie for me :(
You guys are kickin arse and taking names. I can almost remember what getting PIE was like. :ROTF:
I know, it is like swimming in a pool of Great Whites with a cut on my leg. I don't even make good chum. :shakes: :ROTF:

scurries in, looks for crumbs, finds none, scurries out...
mmm...Carolina blue pie thanks to DDDT2s finally getting validated.
I cracked the 300 barrier earlier this week and am going to pass the 40 year mark tomorrow morning.
Of course, with the heat wave, our electric bill was $300.
I hope those guys at Harvard are getting some promising data from the new project. I'm ready to cover our roof with solar panels.
Meh.. sorry for the weird numbers guys, it seems that both my Ubuntu machine and the dual Westmere have thrown network fits, thus not connecting to the BOINC servers any more. Both were out of work while I was gone, and I finally got the Ubuntu machine to upload - 732 finished HCC WUs ;)
JUST missed.. Damn you Jaco!
Jaco_XS 182,062
Movieman 179,979
C'mon you guys, toss down some crumbs for the rest of us!
When I just looked at the chart there is some guy named Movieman on it.

Possible,maybe arse pie..
BUT you'll have to excuse me right now.
Involved in a "upgrade" on this guys "wittle" PC..
Replacing the wimpy TT HS with HUGE Noctua's and adding a SECOND 12 gig memory kit..
Oh,did I say it is a SR2 with X5680's and just to be sure it is functioning correctly it will have to be tested for at least 24hours.. WCG, yup, my account, yup!
That would have been movieman 'the magpie'. Jeeves won't let his sort in the club :shakes:.
Not to be confused with The Movieman, who we all know and love :yepp:.

i've seen it come up a few times, but who is this muddy101 guy? getting some fat pie deserves some recognition, except he's nowhere to be found
You can make book on this; Tomorrow I'm coming and it ain't for any crumbs or arse pie!
Tough crowd, I almost got booted from the club today!
I was just looking at free-dc stats. Looks like you are gettng a nice piece of pie, Dave.
Can the bed take the extra weight?
Clicky > .
 All you got to do is ask you know :p:
Won't try linux but putting Mac OS on a non-Mac board is ok? :shakes:
(btw, Mac-OS is based on BSD Unix :p: )
Darwin?.... Is that then origin of the PC's? :)

 What the ####. You know it's getting hard when RAMMIE is 6th and who's 02-J ? Oh and Moviemans sneaked in as promised:up:
Years ago when I was working for a company hooking high speed scanning and printing solutions to people's networks I did some work at an independent company that worked on Macs. They were running the Mac OS on top of Linux long before "thief Jobs" realized that it would make his OS (Mac users don't hate me because I am beautiful :ROTF:) into something viable. But I always did like the Motorola RISC chips.
In my opinion it was the start of a real OS for Macs. JMHO YMMV :sofa:
Holy crap you need to be doing like 22k BOINC, 154K WCG to even get a sliver of pie anymore  You greedy gluttons you
when did Rammie sneak back in?? WB!
Came to give ya'll some help getting past Easynews. That was the goal from the get go when XS/WCG started.
...in that case.....
TURBINES TO SPEED !!!

sniffs pie..
So, we have about 400+ active members in team. And those are producing... is it 10+ million per day ? Supposing that everyone whose are active returns works daily. Pretty good , sorry I meant  good.
Sniffing that part is just wrong :shakes: and you seem to like it :D

I'm not so sure a turtle with a rocket is the right animation; a small rocket with an even larger rocket might be more appropriate  (so what in your farm these days? its killing me to know :))

I'd like a piece of pie, yum ;)
Trust me,Pie here is tough but your new so I'll give you an idea what you need just to get #10 spot on the pie chart:
Maybe FOUR Hex core Intel machines clocked to 4100mhz that do nothing but crunch 24/7/365.25 and do nothing else..
That's a little over 200,000WCG PPD and will get you pie..most days..
I do this job part time :) I jumped the gun today just to steal SAM's job, I posted before the last daily update. I liked SAM's posting the # of users returning work and avg team credit so I ganked that from him.
4 Hexacores at 4.1GHz or ~29k boinc ppd is the bare minimum for average pie around here... We have Dak at 70k per day, 4 users at ~50k and around 8 users who can get 30k ppd some days plus i'm sure jcool will be back in a big way once that chilled sr-2 is running; I got a few tricks up my sleeve too :wasntme:
random thought: Boinc points vs WCG points is like metric vs imperial; I think in boinc :)
Think I'm going to bake me a pie. That is the only way I will get some soon. :)
Keep up the good work guys.
You ain't listening my friend.
This is one tough crowd to fool around with.
They take no prisioners and brook no sheet from anyone!
I just double checked and this is from WCG's list of todays top points to members:
1)dak1640 525,984
2)muddy101 413,130
3)stoneageman 392,864
4)RAMMIE 365,798
5)XS_fallwind 357,682
6)w0en 254,518
7)Biker- 244,218
8)usz 238,895
9)therealjcool 227,119
10)pirogue 199,463
and "Crumb boy"
11)Jaco_XS 194,738
I only got 4 machines up and running at the moment, no wonder I only get such a small slice of pie :(
Tough crowd
You've had a few better days (according to Boincstats) and your 32,917 points should join this list bumping 2010-08-03 off the bottom of your top 5.

The Free DC pie chart is pretty much always inaccurate anyway.... some days I make 275000 points and it states I did 195000 and other days I do 195000 and it reports me making 350000+....
I'm not sure why these disrepancies occur but I am pretty sure the snapshot is taken at different times to when WCG pumps out the real numbers...
yup, BUT to give credit when stoneageman grabs the snapshot he's getting it at the time it matchs vs these amateurs who do it "part time"
(Hoping trn has a good sense of humor! )
Oh, forgot. We need to motivate our new member OC Maximus so by pure chance here he is grabbing cherry pie!
Like Dave said, the guy on the island is us, and he has a cut on his leg...you get the picture. :D
