That's sweet. Is that on air or colder?
I just did the flash. Make sure that the /iRF0403.ROM looks like that. It didn't work the first time for me because I didn't use caps.
Anyone care to put up their Rampage settings for a wolfdale, high fsb and D9GHM memory?
Ive tried every single rampage bios, and still cant get it to flash in dos. Can anyone give us two some insight on how to clear this up. Well I tried the 1004 maximus bios and that was a big mistake, unstable, random restarts. I then went a head a tried the 1201, I had the same issues with this also. I am going back to 907 untill I get this rampage issue sorted out:confused: I even renamed the rom file to "1.rom" and that still didnt work "afudos/i1.rom/pbnc/n" no good On the brighter side raid is workinghttp://images39.fotki.com/v1236/file...29155/1000.jpg
nevermind i am an idiot i need to read the 1st post
(this is a prime example of why i have that Stewie gif in my sig)
your drive speeds are all over the space...!!?? (what do you have 2x60gb drives in raid zero? 102gigs, thats a wierd number)
this is typical if you do not have the intel storage matrix manager installed and write back cache ENABLED.
you need to install that then enable advanced mode then right click each of the arrays you created and enable write back cache...
also use HDTune not HDTach, HDTune is a much more accurate test.
takes longer but its a better test.
I've seen HDTach give some pretty wacko results.
look at yours.. those speeds, 500mb/sec 400mb/sec are impossible.. no drive is that fast in terms of Sata.
and you have no sustained speed either, its just all over the place. (which is probably the write caching issue.
these pictures show my setup (i believe the sharp dips in my tests are because i have multiple partitions in my Raptor setup)
3x 36gb Raptors in raid 0 and 2x 500gb in raid Zero
write caching enabled.
Praise the lord:yepp::yepp::yepp::yepp::yepp::yepp:
It worked!!!! I forgot to put the space after "pbnc/n" "pbnc /n" Oh man what a day. I have 4xWD 3200aaks, that was with the 100gb matrix slice. That was the quick bench in hdtach. Thanks guys problem solved:clap:

yes,
volts to 2.12 ( bios ) = 2.2 actual
trfc to 55/60
they get very hot without any cooling so I have a fan blowing on them, they seem to clock well just need alot of volts to go beyond stock settings
Those are nice clocks Grnfinger are those with these. If not can you give me a link:cool:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166
2 Kids. LoL. 4 of my own now, 6 later in the day. Ain't life grand?

Well, I hope Asus plays nice. I'll be waiting to hear from you.
That's why my wife and I only have one kid...that way we're never outnumbered!
if i ever have kids im going to name them AS5, DFi, or Asus...
