mmm, He looks delicious.
Man I miss my D3s.
Nice, that would make a great HDR.
I honestly have no idea how to do them, I dont have any editing software other than ViewNX2 and Photoscape.
After reviewing my images I think I am over sharpening and blowing the colors out, I may repost that pic and try to make it a little softer and see what you guys think.
Its probably your monitor, but a month ago or so you were WAY over sharpening. Now they're starting to soften up a bit, but still can be a bit harsh. You're honestly better off leaning towards less sharpening rather than going really crazy with it.
Saturation is usually OK, that last one is a little close to the edge. I usually never touch saturation off the camera, or sometimes I push it down a bit. Depends on the camera, and what you're shooting. I try to configure my camera to deliver as close to neutral as possible.
Hope you dont mind, this was just using some HDR toning in PS5, would look alot better if done with the original photo.

I dont mind at all man, I tried Photomatix (spelling?) or something of the sort but after playing with the demo I didnt think it was worth $100 bucks and I havent bothered since then.
I can get a effect kind of like that was Photoscape by hitting a "bloom" button half a dozen times but I always thought they looked bad, I may put the same image up tomorrow with a few shots of "bloom" and see what you guys think.
I guess I need to stop being a cheap arse and save up for Photoshop and learn how to use it.
Nice photo, but try some CA correction. Im bit suprised that this lens has that much of CA.
Tarowah
First photo is tad bit oversharpened and maybe bit too saturated, but that saturation is matter of taste. Second is good from sharpness point of view (maybe even add tiny bit of sharpness), but colors are kinda too cool, maybe change WB towards warmer? I guess that its how it looked IRL.
Photomatix is hard to master, though cant say if its worth 100 USD or not, it has certain uses, but takes long time to find for what its good.
@Tarowah, I like the saturation of the first pic, and the sharpness of the second. First pic to sharp.
Thanks for the input everyone, I am going to try and get better at editing, I dont speand the amount of time with them as I should.
Trying FX Photo Studio HD for the Ipad
pretty kick a$$ program, lots and lots of effect templates.
The black border is too strong needs to be toned down.

With the Zetec they are nice little cars. I really like the '03 only facelift they got:

Nice Tarawah, are these old historical structures? or just abandon old homes? I would love to look through these.
The set I am showing now are on a customers farm, the last one is the first home that was built on the farm and it is pretty well falling apart, I will put a few more of this one up in the next few days. The ones with the signs on them are newer and are used as storage for their collections of signs and whatnot.
Yeah i like the front on those newer units. Mine is a 1998.
Only problem with the post 2002 models was that they fixed a few of the ghetto mods like the IAT sensor mod of just using. 99 cent resistor to trick the motor into thinking its sucking cold air so it ups the timing and dumps more fuel.
There is an absolute difference with it and without it. But i have heard the long term side effects are not good. So only use it whenneeded then go back to the stock sensor.
There are a couple of throttle based mods that use this at full throttle but i cant find anyone who has one for sale.
