Thx Tarowah, great shot, how long was that exposure?
That one was at 1/4s and F20 with the 18-55mm kit lens.
Thanks guys. I really need to get out there and shoot, I've just been so tired these past few weeks... :(
Weevil, Tar, I recommend you guys get a polarizer for your landscapes.

Holy yellow batman!
Back in the early eighties I went to basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, it was in winter, and I was amazed at how dead everything was, apparently North Carolina is much the same way. Here in northern California most of the trees stay green all year round, at least up here in the mountains..
Liking the water falls, Nice.
Have a Breezer!

Some really nice pictures are showing up in this thread :up:
Yeah Weevil things get pretty bleak around here from fall to spring in central and western NC, if you go south and east you run into more evergreens, mostly pine trees (and sand, lots of sand) and it looks pretty much the same year round.
Nice shots, I saw them on Flickr first :) I didn't used to like the sugary water effect but it's growing on me.:up:
@wega 52 how did you do thatit looks like a marketing shot, well done. Everyone is producing great shots maybe we should do a monthly theme and competition :)
@Kain, great shot man.
@Wega, serve it up!
And here is one for all you smelly people out there:

Almost same setup as the Brezzer.
Weevil how you doing there in Santa Cruz? I heard on the radio that your area got a few large waves along the coast.
Yea, it messed up some boats and boat ramps in Santa Cruz Harbor, and some in Capitola, nothing worth complaining about when ya look across the pond to Japan, my heart goes out to them.
Glad to hear you guys made it though ok, and yes my heart goes out to those in Japan.
