There may be a reason for it all, however I always get concerned when the person stops posting on the forum of the group buy.
I've seen too many group buy frauds of late, I do hope this is not another.
I've decided not to participate in any, I'd rather pay the extra and have my equipment..

He's in Laos picking up his wife or something, but someone was suppose to deliver the pumps.
If you guys chip in to fund me a plane ride to WI, I'll do my best to get our pumps.

I am going away for the weekend, hopefuly when I come back there will be the promiced email about the pumps in my inbox or some developments in this thread.
My guess is, the person who is supposed to ship us the pumps does not post on this board as we were told, but is supposed to email everyone when he gets the pumps. No email I would guess the pumps have not arrived yet as the place we ordered them from is still behid for some reason and they are late one more time.

Personally, I feel this whole transaction has taken too long. If, by the time fareastgq returns, he still hasn't received the pumps I'm going to request a refund and get mine through the local distributor from whom I bought my RD-20. Saving a few bucks through someone else's group buy hasn't worked out as well as I had hoped.
It would have been nice if he left any sort of information regarding the person and how it will proceed. Btw who are the people that received their rd-20? I havent seen any kind of posts about their results or pictures or them bragging.
You'd probably have to start a separate thread to get their attention. I doubt anyone who has already received their pump would still read this thread.

Not speaking in his defense but he did say he was flying out 13/14/15... maybe he was just checknig in before he flew out, and maybe he didn't have time to post. Not that all people are the same, but all the Lao people that I have known have been very good, honest, decent, hard working, stright-up people. I would like to think fareastgq is the same, and by the same token I would just like to know just what the F*ck is going on!
No, he said he would be MIA, so this is normal that he's not posting according to his previous posts.
What he did say and what is not normal is that a guy would be contacting us through whatever e-mail we had on our PayPal account yet none of us have heard nothing.

Has anyone though about calling up where he was getting the pumps form to see if such an order has been put in?
Also if payments been made by paypal can't you get it back?
Direct bank payments i'm sure you can fnd out if his bank is open and active and they can track his account see, ATM useage and card payments.
lol paypal fraud process takes forever and lots of proof... i heard virtually none of them get refunded
£250,000 went out my bank account all via paypal. That was my inherantes from my great nan. bar that amoutn going and all that there on my aco:banana::banana::banana::banana: is now £70,000 in debt. PP have just admited they had flaws at the time and this payment was taken, i'm now being reibursed, the courts order it to have the intreste paid back and for them to amend all there wronmgs on my account. Thats why i no logner use PP and pay other in cash to do it for me if on PAYPAL, IT'S A BLOODY CON!!!!!!!!!!! This was 7 years ago mind and only just being sorted. US laws eh
Last I looked into the paypal fraud policy, if your paypal payment is deducted from your credit card, paypal makes you first try to get your credit card company to recover your money. Probably just as well, most credit card companies will probably do a better job ;)Quote:
