Please post 7900GT / GTX overclock results

Might be dunno oh well i removed it so no biggy :)
I might replace the resistor also coz in near future i am planing a DI session and i will need more than 1.55V :fact:

your temps are too high , i have 34/35c idle and 50c full load with stokcooler on my XFX 7900GT XT

Core is higher than the mem , a few mm's.

well tomorow ill gona try with this thermal pads , i think its better use this pads instead of thermal past , i hope that waterblock have contact with memorys , if not , i can also use the pads and thermal past above the pads ;)

EVGA regular 7900 GTX just arrived. Initial clocks (Coolbits passed) 720/1750. Have to put on the waterblock to see what this card can really do. And, using an OCZ PSU.

I'd be interested to see how the waterblock does for OCing the core. I just got two of those cards Mon and they both do 715/865 in SLI, slightly better when running one card. I've got blocks ready to attach but was wondering if it was worth it.

Does anyone know if a Silverprop Fusion HL would fit on one of these 7900GT's ???, I have only ever used it on ATI cards :rolleyes:

Also is there any consensus as to which brand card has the higher OC potential ??.........thanks :)

I have the feeling that eVGA and XFX have the best results

..at least hoping so...:D , nn_step did buy the eVGA N563 for me, only wish it could arrive soon enough...:p:

just fabricate a way to mount it. I am just going to be holding my old school maze4 down with likely zip ties.

how are you guys able to take your memory that high? I've tried powerstrip and it only will let me take it to 878. And AtiTools detects my clocks way wrong.

Do you mean the DDR memory? Double Data Rate? Your 878 would be 1756 "Effective"

i agree. i have a XFX 7900GTX EE (690/1750) version and my core does ok, 720, but the memory doesn't have much headroom, 886. this is stock cooler/volts.

no i'm not complaining but i am as high as powerstrip will let me overclock. I want to see if i can take it higher.

and I heard 7900GTs run really cool but I am full loading @ 41°C with a Zalman VF700Cu w/ a Delta 80mm EH8012EB tri-blade on it. Is my sensor out or can it actually be that low?

i found here in a electrical shop liquid silver , its same thing as ink of silver????

what software is peeps using to OC the 7900's, rivatuner doesn't give any OC options..........???

ATITool working fine, you just need to calculate write :) for example, if you see 400 in the memory, it means 400*4=1600Mhz , kapish ;)

41°C in full load? in GT it can be, but in GTX...maybe

ATI Tool for Nvidia's?

I am impressed with my card. Memory is doing 930MHz without a problem, no extra voltage, no memsinks. Able to get the core up to 580 so far.

btw did anyone else have problems with the caps falling off their BFG 7900GTs?

oops.. didn't see you have a GT, 930MHz without extra voltage? wow, you have the Zalman heatsinks on the memory ? my Leadtek 7900GT doing 875MHz (810 without artifacts) and core up to 560, but I steel use the stock cooler, waiting to my VF900 :) and then 1.4V-1.5V vmod , hope for 700+
