Anybody have a good single-core chip in terms of the ODMC that they'd like to donate to me? :D

Either my X2 and/or my board is holding me back....I can get both running over 300 with some seriously loose timings, but they won't budge above 293 together (and actually do worse with ultra-loose timings vs. good timings). 2T doesn't gain a bit of speed running one at a time but it does help somewhat in dual channel...so there's some ODMC problem effecting it. As I said earlier, the vdimm also fluctuates a large amount...so I think my problem is double pronged.

Anyway, I think I'm done for now...3GB results coming tomorrow I think.

I think the concensus is 704-1 as long as you're careful with the voltage bug. I've been using 704-2, so maybe I could gain a few extra MHz when I switch.

Okay, the HS on my Z503s is not only clamped but also thermally taped....ugh. Anyway, my shoulder is killing me (you never realize how much you use it until every little motion hurts it) so I popped the clamps back on.

Hey Major, would you mind sharing those mem settings that you got for your 3700+ SD? I run mine at 255X11, but I'm sure the system would run much faster at 280X10. Could you give me an screenshot with A64 Tweaker and/or any other memory setting you have? I know I have an Asus board and you have a DFI so things might be a little different, but any help on this would be great. THanks

I tried mine at both 280*10 and 255*11. I couldnt get 280*10 32m stable but it would benchmark. The ONLY thing that was better was memory bandwidth, which doesn't make a difference. All other benchies were the same. 255*11 was much much more stable though.

Using the "Special VCore Control" +123% or greater can result in extreme overvolting, causing cpu failure. I believe there was a warning post with more details on DFI Street. (http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/index.php)

ok so as long as u dont use 123% or more ..

i dont use anything above like 110% .. so i guess im safe if that is all i have to worry about

hey vapor keep your 3.3v line .3 or more above your vdimm for much better stability. your only about .15 away and it needs to be double that in my experence for max stability.

You guys will be the first to know my results. I requested that the seller charge me for 2 day shipping so I can get them before the weekend.

When I get them I'll post my results, but I doubt I'll be able to challenge Nugzo or anything 'cause I've just got a Winnie core.

Lower your Multi. Keep that winnie in line. You dont need to stress poor pooh. We are lookin for high memory clocks, not cpu :)

IDK...it depends on the timings for me....at 3-3-3-10 loose secondary benefit but tight loses some OC while 3-2-2-5 scales with voltage regardless of secondary.

The guy's shot I posted earlier, now has 9x300 sp32. It it highly dependent on the mem controller and the X2's arre very fussy along those lines.
