Guys, need some help. Just got my MIVE B3 replacement and am overclocking my 2600k on it. However, whenever I overclock 3 CPU cores disapear. MikeMk, did you check for pin damage on the new mainboard before isntalling the CPU? That would be my first thought as to the cause. I assume you have checked to make sure the BIOS option to allow all cores stays correctly set when you make the settings changes to overclock.
Yeah, it's set on all cores. I havnt checked the socket for bent pins, but wots strange is that all cores work fine at stock. Btw, sine my last post I've also noticed the over-clock doesn't apply. With multi at x40 in bios, in windows it only shows x16 and doesn't increase under load.

To install Windows you don't need any drivers. In the BIOS set hot-plugging to enabled for the port the Vertex3 is connected to. Once in Windows you can install the Intel AHCI drivers. I use the 10.1.0.1008 drivers without issue.

i don t change my setup in bios and now i can t launch linX or other program for cpu test now !
