Ancient Chinese Secret
ok well, in my case it would be ancient german secret..
Think "History Brush"
Weevil you should do some reading about Ansel Adams.
Being you have unlimited access to Yosimite you should see if you are interested in the typ eof photography Ansel produced.
just amazing stuff.
You now do not have to go thru the enormous effort Adams went thru for his shots but you just have too much access to too many amazing landscapes to pass up the chance to learn from one of the Masters of photography.
See the likeness?

Ok, well maybe not. ; )
I do happen to be at Yosemite in that photo too. : )
I have seen a couple bio's on him, did ya know he was a concert pianist also? But Yosemite and his camera kept calling him back.

Love that lens, great shot kwscore
Thx Weevil I love this lens too
there ya go weevil, you got it.
change it to black and white then use the history brush to "erase" the black and white and bring back the color.
it never ceases to amaze me at the punchiness of colors when they are placed against a black and white picture.
like people eyes, or the color of that sky, it doesnt look that punchy when its in full color, but go B&W and then selectively bring back some color and its amazing how colorful it really was.
it almost looks unnatural how much color there is.
Leet... man resize that picture dude...
way too big.
and i think i have a few of my cat doing something similar.
my cat,, oddly enough and orange tiger also, refuses to drink from anything but the tub faucet.
so we have to place a bowl in the tub, and turn the faucet on so it dribbles on his head, and he will drink like that.
he will starve himself of water until he can get in to drink from the tub.
here is my daily.
