This is an HDR done with two exposures, one that showed what was through the tunnel, and one that showed the cliff face.

the images line up so well i want to make an animated gif of your spring/winter mountain scape (the spring to winter transition looks cool when you use the layer transparancy slider) but i dont know how to make gif's.
so here is a merged image. top layer is at i think 80% transparency.

I dont know how to make animated gifs either, but that would be way cool, were gonna go back in the summer and then again in the fall, to capture the green, and then the fall colors, would be really cool to see an animated gif with all 4 seasons. Gonna have to look into that, thanks for the grand idea.
Very good Lestat I was going to say to Weevil He couls swap the winter sky to the summer print. Could you write a short tut on how you did that? Weevil you do indeed live in a beautiful scenic area. I am determined to see a Redwood soon :)
