It means 3D stable - all of them - Super-Pi 32M , prime , SETI bench(over an hour bench) , Pi-fast(heavy enough), e.t.c........ ;)

It means 3D stable - all of them - Super-Pi 32M , prime , SETI bench(over an hour bench) , Pi-fast(heavy enough), e.t.c........ ;)

Not on air.......On air it's 3d benchable with the default heatsink at 2850MHz.......Here was on -70*C at full load.....Not so good..... :(

i used 2 asus coolers to make the side brackets that screw into the copper base of the akasa evo 120 this allows me to use the asus mounting clips.

i will do some testing with it later and see how far i can go with it.

Just used a hacksaw and drill.

the cooler is working well. as 2650 with 1.568v it never goes over 43C with system temps of 22C under load.

however the cpu i have is poor my old one would do 2750 but no more. This new one maxed at 2670 no matter what vcore is set.

i dont have any more asus coolers to make another one plus the cooler is on loan from work ;) .

i could get some parts cnc'd but it would cost loads.

this thread is a life saver - i love you all :)

anyone heard/seen/use custom bioses (especially for the p4p ;) ) - aslo, its a long shot - but has anyone any info on if its possible to flash a p4p800 to a p4p800 se???

see the very first post for info on bios flashing but the p4p800se bios will not work in any other p4p800 i tried it on a p4p800 deluxe and it would not post after.

You must've had bad luck. I've flashed 3 P4P800 Deluxes to P4P800SE. Two of them didn't start after I pushed the reset button, but did after I shutdown entirely and then restarted.

Does anyone know if it will work in the ct479+p4p800se?

CT-479 is made for Banias and Dothan, i don't think a Northwood is really interresting anymore, if I were you i wouldn't invest in a S478 mobo...

How high can you run your Twinmos UTT on your mobile?

I have 2X512MB Twinmos AA4T and 2x512MB 1A4T but the AA4T don't run well at my system,not even at 2-3-2.
The 1A4T do 227-229 separatly but both in dual they only do 210 2-2-2-5@3V,i have done the voltmod and yesterday i checked the voltage of the Vdimm and it dropped from 3V to 2,8V when i run Pifast so i think that is the problem why i can't run high fsb on my memory(if i use the memory divider 250Mhz is no problem but this gives not much advantage)
I don't know if it's my mobo (Asus P4C800 Deluxe) or my powersupply (Tagan 480W) which causing the problem.
I tried to run with minimal hardware (mobo,memory,cpu,hd,vgacard) with muliplier 10 but i have still these drops at vdimm :mad: so i think it's the mobo.

I just sold my 4x256MB BH-6(Kingston Valueram and Infineon PC2700 USA) because i thought i never have to use them again,but that was on a XP-M :( the AA4T where a very good replacement for them.

edit: actually, i believe i865 lacks SMP logic control... and 875 doesnt work right with the D's although it does with xeons. oh well :(

Not socket 479 - will work without the adaptor, nice overclocker, but poor performance.

I'm setting up a database on Pentium M clocks based on model and whether it's Retail/OEM. It's up here: *old link* under database. Would appreciate it if you guys input your overclocks there so we can find out once and for all if Retail has any better luck than OEM or which models clock the best.

Well it's only really for max clock on basic cooling (as the pms benefit very little between 20C and 40C). The idea of it is to compare them on roughly equal cooling to see which models o/c better or whether Retail is better than OEM. If some are on different cooling to others it doesn't really help

Max stable for 3d benches should be enough. If it can complete the 3dmarks it can prob be made 24/7 stable with high end air cooling. I've always found a bit of lack of voltage instability and 3dmark01 just quits on me, whereas long-term stability is more affected by cooling.

Well I have sat @ 2600 on prime for a long, long time but it will quit in games after a while, so I run it at 2580 for 24/7.

This is my question. I see another guy here is running a p4c800e deluxe bios on the p4p800se. That should gain you 1000 points in 3dmark 2001!! Unless I am mistaken. WHy shouldn't I flash to the p4c800 e bios? It will work, but will it gain some speed and bencmarks #s? I thought you had to have the p4c800 to get the extra speed out of the PEntium M. Please say I am wrong...

S3 suspend/resume does not work on my system.

Anyone else has a similar problem?

Of course, Asus does not acknowledge the "suspend-to-RAM problem" when using the CT-479 adaptor.

air... @2780 (309x9.0, ram 3:2). just this morning i tried benching it with
255x11, ram 1:1), no go.. so i changed to 2750 (250x11.0, ram 1:1) and
benched 3d2k1, 2k3, 2k5, am3 all in one session, one after the other w/o
rebooting - broke all my records that stood til then :D, all but superpi1m,
which was about .6s off my best (suicide @ 311x9.0, also with asus def.
cooler).

hey people support this database.. it could help give some insights for
people looking to buy new dothans...

Cant answer you question but might be able to help get you gamming stable at 2600.I try to run prime plus ati tool for stbility testing, you get more heat in the case when the gpu is working also, better case cooling ,air flow will fix this problem.
