but i bought it used and dont have this pads , and im thinking in use termal past not conducting instead of the pads that i dont have , its should be ok right???
regards
I like to run all my games at 1600X1200 or higher, that is why i need the extra power. My monitor supports 100Hz at 1600X1200 or 75Hz at 2048X1536, this way I can still have high frame rates. Afterall, what is the advantage of running 200+ frames per second when your refresh rate is only 60Hz. So many people make this mistake and think that they are gettting crazy FPS, when in fact they are limited by their low refresh rate.
Cant wait to see the results
The pads are 2 a 3mm , i dont think that thermal paste can fill that gap.Quote:

but the memorys are at same level as the Core , so i think there is no problem , no??
Has someone already tested the card with Oblivion?
yes, i already tested the card in oblivion , with HDR the game its very good
i play oblivion 1600*1200 hdr all settings at max drivers set to best quality on a winchester 2.2 ghz ( i know it's a shame but i can'tunderstand why now locks up @ 2.35 ghz when before i was running @ 2.5 with no problems) and the game runs always smoothly... 7900 gt is stock @ 450 1320
Club3D 7900gt @716/1000:D (vgpu 1.55V,vddr 2.2V)
Cpu only at 2800mhz and ram @180mhz 2-2-2-5(i still didnt recieve the PSU from RMA:rolleyes: )

crazy score :toast:
Ok, thanks guys! Then I think should be the Unreal3 Engine no problem for this card too (hopefully ;) )
I guess now I'll stick to the 7900GT. Just need to wait until there is a cheap model avaiable :)
Nice score:D But what cooling did you use..temps?Quote:

What's the point then in running above the reference 450Mhz speed? Why produce OC versions at all. You are totally satisfied with less than 8000 3DMark2005, right?Quote:

Besides, this is www.xtremesystems.org not, sensible-safe-computing-within-manufacturer-limits.net ;)

i think with stokcooler and 1.4v you got about 42/43c
42/43 Load?Quote:

My XFX 7900GT (550/815) stock gets only 4600 3dmark06 score. The core wont move and memory only to 825. Temps are 43 idle 65 load. I think it must be my temps??? Getting the new zalman cooler when it comes out or water cooling.
PS: Havn't read all the thread...
Thx guys im really happy that the card clocks so good coz 1000mhz on ram is just insane :woot:
Gpu is watercooled and on ram i have Revoltec BGA copper ram sinks.Temps are 38 in idle and 43°C on full load .
Oh yeah and i had to remove the GPU vmod posted on vr-zone coz the screen was shuting off all the time when i passed 670mhz on core  (it might be coz it overvolted with that mod 1.58V and after i removed it it´s 1.55V maybe OCP kicking in ???)
Someone else didnt get OCP kick in even with 1.6V. Perhaps it was, but more likely a poor connection somewhere.. you migh have pulled something accidentally.
Thats cool the mod with conductive ink works also, very nicely i must say.
I see you have club3d 7900GT and 705/1800Quote:

What's the problem? I would like upper gpu speed, because lot of people beat 570 core speed..
my card temperatures: idle 39c , load 57c
