My gto2 @620/630 has died... :( Don't know why, after 1 month of fully playing, i was playing CoD2 for 3-4hours then the pc hanged up, then artifacts came at the reboot... Waiting for RMA... I hope at least the new can reach xt pe frecs... :stick:

No, it didn't restart by itself, running @45-50º on full under water, i only have it to 620/630 for bench, when crash it was @600/600.
*fears for gto2's life*
I checked thermalright's compatibility list a while back and I'm pretty sure it said it's not comp. with itQuote:

well I was looking around in some german boards and asked some guys if they successfully modded their Connect3D cards.
there were some successfull people telling me their cards could be modded without any problems.
but one mentioned that some Connect3D cards might have lasercutted pipelines - is this true?
I never heard of Connect3D GTO cards having laser-cutted pipelines.
anyway I think I'm going to buy a connect3d this month :>
I don't like my 6600GT anymore - I feel so damn slow :stick:
why not getting a GTO2 ? :p:Quote:

can somewanne help me here ?
The connect 3d's are not laser cut. They are just like the GTO2's but you arnt garunteed R480. Sometimes you will get R423. The other difference is that they ahve 2ns ram instead of the GTO2's 1.6ns.
But despite the slower ram there are a number of people on the forums getting close to or hitting 600mhz on the mem.
you need the flashrom16pQuote:
