Hmmm just tried benching with it on 3dmark03 and it seems to recognize it as x800 series.. not x800 xl. Well it made it through at 435/570 with room to spare it seems... not bad for stock.... the score is pretty crap though with a stock 3500+ Newcastle and generic memory :)

i don't get it...everyone here you get at least 540 on memory...mine sux out at 520.
How big is the chance of getting a PowerColor X800XL VIVO with 1,6NS ram? And is the PowerColor good?
probably slim now. Most if not all recent powercolor are 2.0ns ram. Powercolor is just fine. They are a major manufacturer of ATI cards and have been for some time. Up there with Sapphire I would say.
Having a little trouble getting this new setup stable and cpu speeds are not where I'd like it to be... looks like I have a crappy overclocking XL, I want to at least break 500 core....

That 3200mhz CPU speed makes a big diff, eh? Mine at 510/630 on my 3500+@2.65ghz pulled a 13.4K. I haven't tried it with my San Diego yet.Quote:

Hmmm interesting... switched from my 2x256 Mushkin Level2 to 2x512 VX which enables bank interleave and with the same cpu speed and basically the same video clocks 498/616 scored nearly 100 points higher...

I've discovered the Pencil Mod isn't working for me. Seems like it was actually hindering my overclock... I just removed it and ran at totally stock volts (on water) and scored my best yet:

How on earth is every1 scoring so high on these cards...Mine at stock scores 26800 in 3dmarks 2001....What drivers or tweaks is everyone doing to score so high???
