and the thing is the new IC7 BIOS-es are better suited for low FSB. You can make the timings real right. But if you'd try to equal this with a 2.8C on an IC7 I think you'll find you have a lot of trouble even breaking 49 secs. Hell, chances arent that good that you can even do 294 5:4 :(

well.... getting closer ... ;) The IC7 boards are faster in pifast than my P4C800 :( but on the good side the ASUS does kick ABIT ass in 3D (at least going by the IC7 I had)

If only my prom was working the way it should... but i'll worry about that when I get back from holidays :)

I think its time to do something before Oppainter gets his Prommy back from Bowman

Here you are:: Prommy R404 caskade with Vapochill.

I put extra cooling agent on the Prommy, almost going to explode:D :rolleyes: very hot.

Then caskademounting the old Vapochill. At full load on the P4@3.2 at 1.85 volt the Vapochill can't go under +14 degree:flame:

Great Pi score , and even more impressive clock speeds on the 3.2

Are those 3.2 all from Costa Rica, or from several plants just as all the other chips?

The 3.2 is from malaisia batch L317A892 pack date: 6/13/2003

Just mount it last night. The temp was jumping op and down. This morning the AS3 has stabilized. I think a few days more vill improve the contact to the CPU.

IC7 can do this fsb unmodded...........Stable fsb is about 318MHz(depends on each chipset of course)..........

Unfortunatelly at 5:4 can do MAX mem frequency about 233MHz and NO go over than that...........

What errors do you get above mem frequency of 233Mhz? Complete system freeze, or no POST or no BOOT?

And that is only vmem modded board?
I don't understand why my IC7 will stop working already at FSB 282(5:4)...

Yes ...... between 280MHz+ to 290MHz , you may have random reboots or freezes on a benchmark.........Above 292MHz with 5:4 Ram , no go.......It boots , goes into Windows(not all the time) and reboots,freezes,e.t.c........I just got an EPOX Canterwood Mobo to test it today..........
