2-2-2-5-TURBO of course :D
No room for improvement there but I think I can push the MHz up a bit still.
Macci, is your description incorrect in your 3DMK03 score? (248fsb = 4062 Mhz??)...or, do the P4C's just read the FSBs' wrong like mine does after 4Ghz? Mine drops down to a multi of 15.275 from 16 and only Cpuz v1.2 reads the correct Mhz.Quote:

3DMark03 has a bug reporting the CPU speed once past 4.1GHz. At 4200MHz it will say its 4000MHz, 4500 would be 4300 etc
edit: and the 248FSB there is a boot-up FSB, adjusted it to 304 with Clockgen.
Thanks.....:) I'll stop worrying about it now! :D
EDIT the edit//:Cuz @ 258fsb I get 3940Mhz with out using clockgen.
Well gunna have to go back and try this again tomorrow hopefully.Quote:

P4EE => 11312
FX => 11281
I can get Car hi to over 160FPS too if I run it first but then lobbys will be a bit lower (overall its a bit better not to run Car hi first).
OPP, whats the max peak FPS you've seen so far with the FX? :)
I'm up to 794FPS in lobby low :D
On drago low I've seen only 690 with this system (with A64 I saw 706 there).
At first my card was running at 648 without a hick up, Major Drago scores:)
We had to shut down the cooler for a few minutes and I never got it back to 648.
This time I'll check for highest FPS in the tests.
Macci, when are you going to get an FX ??
OPP
648GPU! :toast:
Major Dragos I bet (let me guess 302FPS in drago hi?) :D
648 GPU might give 9650-9750 in mark03 too.
Good luck with you upcoming bench session.
I'll try to tweak the P4 EE a bit higher :D
At the moment I'm not planning on getting a FX system. Very difficult to find the good parts here.
What was the GPU speed on your current 30995 run?
Card was running at 634.
It's a bummer you won't be running the FX, It would have been nice to get your opinion on the FX,,EE difference.

I knew macci wasnt gonna get an fx just yet. I personally think its best to wait for socket 939
OPP.
Is your SK8V much faster than SK8N? i mean in Car Hi and Lobby Hi?
Long wait for a bencher... To long. So take the banana somewhere else in the meantime.Quote:

That is the next logical step. todays mobos have been maxed out. also the new year is less than a week away and to tease you:

Nice 3dmark on the ORB, how about some details on that score.
I just got done replying to ASUS to try and get an SK8N, I don't have one so I don't know the difference. I'll be going for some 940 NF3 testing soon I hope, should have a Leadtek soon.
OPP
I was just thinking.
I wonder if ASUS could come out with bios for the SK8V that had a divider in it with would allow the memory to run like 20MHz above the FSB. This would be the hot item on Via mobos:D
I'll have to ask these guys.
OPP
Why would you wish that? I'd say it'd be faster syncronously or is that different from P4-systems?
I want it so I can run my memory higher, my AGP is just to high at 256 plus. My memory can probably do more.Quote:

The via chipset and the regulator would have to support it first wouldn't they?Quote:

Word has it that the newest Sk8N BIOS is much better. The one I was using (an old 1002.006 BETA) just crippled the System scores...hence my low 28.7K score @ 613/451! Too bad I don't have the SK8N any more...Quote:

C
Well it does support asyn mode so I don't see why not.
OPP
Just got this from Asus,
"I will check the spec. Like SiS chipset, it is possible because chipset supporting asychronous mode. Some chip can not because it support synchrous mode only"
OPP
Well that would be nice.
Which do you think tolerates a higher agp bus, the 5950 or 9800XT?
Yeah, but socket 939 is about half a year away..Quote:

btw, FX5950 and every nVidia card loves AGP clocks even 95mhz+.
