not the million $ question, will this work with nehalem?
wow... i want one. haha. trying to get into water cooling. newbie here. i just got 2 mcp350's, and trying to figure out all the other parts... this gtz looks like it's top on the list for a cpu block.
Looking very good. Whenever the cpu and nb blocks are available I'll buy some. I hope they both come out soon.
Awesome! How about your other blocks?
Need a GTX280 block, please. Whether modular or full cover doesn't matter.
Excellent job Gabe, looks like some quality blocks there!
Hot!
Does that block require grinding down the stock heatsink? I can see no other way to make that work with the current Maximus II Formula boards.
No, the waterblock portion unscrews from the heatpipe system. The Asus block is mounted to another copper block for the heatpipes. The actual block does not contact the NB chip, it sits on top of another copper block. The Swifty will replace the top block...make sense?
Compatible with Striker II Extreme/ROG I heatpipe pipe system or only the new ROG II design?
edit: doh, BlueAqua got in before my edit...:D
Wonder what an Apogee GTZ with compression fittings would look like...;)
Kids, that's what happens when you don't look carefully... Others embarrass you.
The Apogee GTZ is shipping to dealers this week.
Free production samples for review & testing are also being sent this week to the following members:
