Does that block require grinding down the stock heatsink? I can see no other way to make that work with the current Maximus II Formula boards.
No, the waterblock portion unscrews from the heatpipe system. The Asus block is mounted to another copper block for the heatpipes. The actual block does not contact the NB chip, it sits on top of another copper block. The Swifty will replace the top block...make sense?Quote:
