What do you have the graphics robust on auto or turbo???

also, 3dmark and ati tool are no longe a good way to test stability.............try crysis :p:
Turbo all the way, never lowered that value also memory extreme - maybe is only me too speed addicted and never set them lower
I just tested these two cards, when they come on the marked in a week or two and then returned them, so i didn't care about stability. I love my GTX and there's still nothing to change it with :(

That's the strangest moment +0.35v if i remember correct :) But 1 time that gives me no boot after setting to Auto all works perfect, if set to auto = no boot then set to +0.35 and all work:rolleyes: Long story short - try these 2 combinations and the 1 works when other don't :D
Hi guys!!
Ok i intalled all my new rig yesterday, freshly RMA'ed board, new cooling loop.
Pushed the power button...Boot...off...Boot...off!!!! Noooo! the infamous on-off cycle!! Removed the batt, wait 5 min....On and off again...Almost started to cry...
Wait!! Remove the memory stick, put it in the other bank and tadam!!!!! It worked!!! I even booted directly to windows without any prob!! No need to re-intall XP.
Since the first board didnt even boot, that was a huge improvement, Temp are ok since i didnt even clean the cpu and simply put the fuzion block wihtout cleaning or adding new paste, i will re-install everything clean this week (i'm still waiting for my new psu (ocz 700W)
I played a little bit in bios, i'm at 8x400 by now and it's stable, with load temp at about 58-60C@1.4v Should drop that a little bit with clean setup, by now i have 10' long tubing...
I will play more when i will have my new psu, i dont trust my Ultra-X3 crappy one.
BIOS F5G solved my previous problem of not being able to overclock. Well, I could overclock but as soon as I did a cold boot my OC settings would get thrown out. Guess F3 didn't like my Cellshock RAM.
Well
I think I took all what I could from the mobo
at least untill next version of bios :D

I was able to boot to 3.870 ( 430x9 ) , but the system not stable
Im happy that i could overclocked my memory to 1130
Can anyone access this website: www.station-drivers.com
??...i haven't been able to access it for days.
Thanks for the info Richard.

I have it yesterday, X38T-DQ6, just a quick test with GSKILL F3-12800CL7D-2GBHZ, also flash two bios F3g and F4a, bios F4a is terrible

Well I wrote too soon. The cold boot problem reared it's ugly head again. I tried flashing to the latest beta because it stated that it fixes a problem with settings being randomly lost but that BIOS is terrible. I can barely get it to boot at stock settings. Back to F5G and as soon as I cold boot, OC settings get thrown out. Strangely, I haven't seen anyone else mention this problem.
Try F@H for 12/24h once you can afford it. If OCCT RAM fails, suerely F@H will fail also, I even find it more sensitive than OCCT RAM, but it will need too much time while OCCT does it in 1-2h run. As I told you before, try OCCT RAM on stock settings, if it works, you get your answers.
I'm desperately looking at these X38 boards threads, and all the time, same problems I now have on my P5B deluxe when I want to exceed 390MHz FSB: all passes, but OCCT RAM (1-2h) and F@H 10h reboot. Looks like I should stick to my P5B deluxe since the problem looks the same, just some 10-15MHz FSB more stability with the X38
OCCT weird program because it doesnt really fail, screen goes blank and occt is still running, it makes windows explorer crash...i loose my background but when it recovers occt is still running.
anyone have any problems with divider 4:5................sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesnt, when it booted it passed memtest with no issues, this is with bios f5h, it worked finr with f3 but i had less bandwidth........f5 gives better memory performance.
Good day
I have the same problem, and I realy dont know what I need to do.
Can some one help me? I know it's the Bios the problem, but I don't know what I need to change to have 3.0 GHz again thank you for your help
and special thanks to you SGT Viper :)

Can someone *PLEASE* check to see if www.station-drivers.com is down or not!!!
I haven't been able to access the site in days.
Bah, if RAM fails or the NB, you'll get such windows errors, OCCT RAM is stressing too much your RAM-NB subsystem
In the maximus thread, someone monitored a voltage drop of the RAM till a lower limit corresponding to the crash/errors. It reveals a heat issue on the 2 PWM of this board sourcing the RAM modules. Give it a check maybe it'll help you. And again, if OCCT is stable on stock and unstable on OC, it is rather bad news for your settings
By the way, what OC did you achieve now on the X38-DQ6, do you still have the Prime load issue you had on the Maximus?
