For the above you mention, what should the bios settings be for the Intel and Jmicron?
I am not familiar with the BIOS yet since I haven't seen it.
I really hope they get the SATA optical drives working with SATA RAID so I can just get rid of the Jmicron.
Set the J-Micron controller to IDE mode and set the intel controller to AHCI mode if not using raid. The Jmicron i gave me ZERO problems on 2 motherboards. makes me wonder what the problem with it is sometimes.:confused:Quote:

I have the same Vista problem. The multi is always 6. got to be a way to disable power management all the way somehow. I stopped using the stock bios when the nick disappeared and upgraded at that point. I'm sorry but I don't use RAID....Quote:
