Hopper nice case but what are the specs of the watercooling i see a swiftech micro res :)
Germans are perfectionists indeed. Only if they weren't so obsessed with restriction and small tubing... :p:Quote:

Whats wrong with the swiftech micro? IMO it's one of the best res you can buy.
Actually the swiftech MCRES is one of the better ones, very well designed :)Quote:

heres the loop for inspecting
I have a question, I've notice a some of these cases have just as many fans as a case that does not watercool. I thought the general idea is to cut noise down and get better performance. Kinda defeats the purpose of putting a case full of fans and watercooling doesn't it?
Unless they doing just for the "bling" factor im missing something..
You still need some airflow because of RAM, northbridge/southbridge (unless those are watercooled), and other motherboard components. But because this doesn't need as high airflow as when full-blown aircooling you can get away with slower and quieter fans :)Quote:

so ya my setup is just as loud right now as some standard setups but the inside temp is probly alot cooler
also my pump is silent,, get the yl fans and the quiet pump when you build yours and you will be happy

hopper some cable management seems to be in order?
i suggest some round IDE cables or switching to SATA drives for your next upgrades.
also cut down tubing from res to pump, i am sure you won't need it to be that long...
and maybe watercool GPU also to maximize silence?
Hey Kox, nice to see you here, too.. :)
WOW  :slobber:
Bling bling
Very nice work on the polishing
nice bling bling you got there, now run it :D
Very nice setup indeed, I like tubing its easier to see how water flows vs having lots of tubes going every which way.
koxy @ ur dfi-board dont you think..
- Better/Stable RAM Slots are both the Orange ones and not the yellow ones.
- dont u think u shud plug in all the power connections on the board?

hmm Camb on the first rig you had your rad supplying your pump, i think most would say its supposed to be the T-Line before pump inlet, easier to fill and prime...
other than that, its a very nice and clean install, nice use of 3mm plate there.
and the yeong yang simple also, only usual suspect of cube cases are the back side of mobo where the wires are located...
What has changed in your new system?Quote:

Yeah, look where the tubing from the bottom barb of the Micro res goes...it seems to disappear but the only place it could possibly end is the pump. And if you look closely, it does. The D5 can be turned on its side and mounted that way pretty easily, so I'd assume the upward barb is the outlet.
Yeah, I see now. Probably was tired when I wrote the first post :PQuote:

hehe, it does look like it, but no. If you look reeealy closely you can see a rig that bolts to the mobo mount that its mounted to. it can actually leak w/ out touching the video card unless the case is on its side. they dont actually line up though it looks like it. the mount its sitting on can swing out so I can fill it up and swing it back in.Quote:

neat little set-up.
also nice to see it being done inside a P180.
That setup sucks, you have no space to add an add-on card:(
I would never water cool in that case. Either go air or use thinner tubes.
I guess,
Sunbeam TT or even an AC 64 could hve been about £100 cheaper...
funkflix, what case is that? looks nice; i like the black
thanks,
jc
I can move the pump out a bit to fit in a sound card. I just don't have a sound card. I did have the AC 64 but im going for complete silence with a fair overclock.
That hose that disappears behind the big wires there, is that a kink I see back there?
 Yeah, I think so too. Dude you should check that out. Any way you can go straight from the rad to the block or would that be too sharp?Quote:

Yea thanks I did see that. I fixed it with the spring like material around the tube works great. I tried going the direct route but it does not work with that tubing I bought. Need to find more flexible stuff.
I haven't had any problems. The case has good airflow in addition to the WC.Quote:

Looks good BooStFeD, except at the inlet of the pump looks to be a partial kink, not bad but it could be restricting flow. Kind of a tight bend.
Thx for the kind words. I just noticed the same kink after posting these pics :) . When i was trimming the tubing i cut too short :slapass: . For now i put a small zip tie to help bring out the kink.Quote:

Just a thought. ;)
