Well, my workstation project isn't as awesome as most of the rigs here, but I still want to share my progress. I am building a picture frame workstation case with an ASUS KFSN4-DRE/SAS, 2 Opteron 2358SE's Quad Core 2.4GHz, Firepro V3900, 16GBs DDR2-667 RAM, 750 Watt PSU, and 4 RAIDed 36GB 10K SAS HDD's. Total cost under $300. I am still waiting for the drives, PSU, and SAS cables, they are in transit now. I will start my own thread with all my progress as soon as I get my hardware in.

I have to change the PSU to a modular one myself.
For the time beeing it's still ugly but aircooled and easy to change.

Sexy build & photos - why is the video card leaning like that though? Is it even connected? Or are you just showing what the top looks like for the pics?
He has an pci-e extension cable...also in white....better shown in pic #12.
I believe he's done it that way for the block to show, it's a shame such beautiful parts to be hidden in normal ATX...inverted is better for bling.
I see, thanks for clarifying. Personally I think it would look best sitting perpendicular to the motherboard rather than on a slant. Then just capture the bling from different angles using the camera. Regardless, really nice build!

But i think ur office cant handle the weight :p:
Nice and compact living space there MR.Yakuza!
I'm finally going to be rebuilding my rig into a new case, I've needed a better case for ages but liked my P182 too much, though the inside is too cramped and long obsolete for the sizes of modern components.
This is the current rig, beyond cramped and horrible cable management:
http://i.imgur.com/i137Luy.jpg
For the new case I ordered a Corsair Air 540, the big cube thing because I love the look of it. I also ordered a pair of 4 Gb Seagate HDDs as they were on offer and cheap for the amount of storage since this case can only hold two 3.5 inch drives and I only have 400 gig left on my 2 Tb drive (one is for backups only). I'm going to stick them in raid 1 this time as I hate backing stuff up via copy paste.
I'm going to stick 3 of my red led fans at the front of the 540, and use the two 140 cm that come with it at the top of the case, only because my red led fans were pricy high air flow and silent ones and I don't want to have to get rid of them for larger fans.
TJ08-E
Added fan controller akasa fc.six.
Mirror on the floor.
White led stripe 1 meter, across all interior.
Replaced side panel with graphite acrylic panel, mounted with magnetic tape stripes.

Very nice job!!
This is my HR GIGER Tribute PC. It actually started this build a few years ago, but got shelved so I could take on customer commitments, so it has a mixture of old and new hardware, what prompted me to finally get it done, was HR GIGER's Passing on May 12, 2014, and the recent mod zoo "dust-off" event. If you've never of HR GIGER, he was most well known for his Visual Effects and design work on the first Alien movie, and of course the iconic Xenomorph ALIEN, long before working on that movie, he had established career as a painter, and had a very distinctive style that blended human bodies and machines that he described as "Biomechanical" ...which inspired the look of this PC..... the hardware as I said, is combination of old and new... the chassis is a Cooler Master 912 turned 90 degrees, and it's been 3 years since the asus sabertooth TUF shield was airbrushed with the Giger theme, the system has two seperate liquid loops, the stainless tube reservoir is for the GPU loop, and has Hardware Labs Black Ice 360 GTX, cooled with Panaflo L1As, these are 38mm thick, 68.9 CFM. Max. noise: 30.0 dB-A, the grill is from Mnpctech.com, with D5 pump and Alphacool top, the CPU is 3570, 3.4 GHz, with Swiftech's new Apogee XL waterblock, this a great waterblock for $69, and it comes with interchangable illuminated faceplate, my good friend EEL Ambiense designed a new replacement faceplate with a Giger-esque design, which I had laser cut, the cpu loop is PETG hardline tubing with EK 190 & DDC res / pump combo. Both loops are running distilled water. The system utilizes 32GB of their ADATA's new XPG V2 DDR3, and their Premirer Pro SP920 256GB SSD... I'll be using this PC in the shop for video editing primarily, so these two AMD Radeon 270Xs in Crossfire will save me from waiting for video to render all day... they're cooled with copper GPU blocks by Syscooling, just because I couldn't help myself...lol, and the power supply is a Corsair 750.
You can see how I created this PC here, http://mnpctech.com/cooler-master-ca...echanical.html

@wa3pnt2 Nice work well done. TT out did themselves that looks awesome to build in.
Just swapped everything over to the Fractal Design Define R5. Love this case!
http://img.techpowerup.org/170527/fullsizerender-1.jpg
There's something about a massive graphics card that gets me juicing. I was swapping out my old Titan to put into a dedicated VR box so I can move all the crap into a more VR friendly zone of the house. I didn't expect the 1080ti to be so much bigger than the Titan! It's like they get bigger and bigger every generation (after market coolers anyway) but then .. they don't at the same time because my case doens't get bigger (I'll have my TJ07 forever!).
I dug up my original 8800GTX out of curiosity that cost me about $1k back in 2007-ish. I thought that it was the biggest badest thing EVER at the time. How funny.

The theme was inspired by legendary PORSCHE 917. The only Gulf Porsche 917 to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans was the one driven in Steve McQueen's "Le Mans" movie. If you're a motorsports enthusiast, I highly recommend seeing this movie for vintage racing footage alone. The story line stinks, but it's really about the event and cars. There is an HD version on YouTube. Many innovations in cinematography were created while filming this movie. Steve's production company welded brackets to the front frame work of the 917, so they could mount a camera to shoot him, and the other drivers.
The OC-FORCE motherboard has north and south bridge water block by EK. The EVGA 960Ti cards have Koolance water blocks with back plates. The black acetal block tops and back plates were painted the Gulf Racing blue. The Bitspower dress-up pump cover was painted orange. The four Corsair Vengeance DDR (32GB) heat spreaders were painted to match later the theme later. A lot of people asked how I painted them, so I created a video guide for dismantling and painting your own DDR heat spreaders here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHVXsvd-5QE
Staying with the race car theme, I chose 1/2" O.D. Stainless Steel tubing was inspired by the fuel and brake lines of a race car. I used 316 Marine Grade Stainless, so corrosion isn't an issue. Working with Stainless Steel tubing requires a Mandrel bender and lots of practice. It takes a great deal of practice to get the perfect bends. I always keep my water loops simple for easy maintenance. I only use distilled water and change it every 6 ? 8 months. I may use Mayhems Dyes when using clear PETG tubing to accent a color theme in other builds. I?ve been DIY liquid cooling for past decade and find most cooling additives or radiator cleaners are gimmicks and a waste of your money. Just use distilled water and be diligent about cleaning your loop. The water pump is an Alphacool VPP655 with adjustable speed. It has a Bitspower dress-up kit. The pump cover was painted to match the exterior paint. Did you notice that my loop has no reservoir? I like my builds simple and clean. I have a Koolance bleed valve on top of the SLI bridge for filling the loop. I fill the loop through a Koolance 3-way splitter fitting with fill port on the top of the 360mm radiator. Beneath the PC is a Koolance Drain Valve. All I have to do is connect tubing to the drain valve and drain the loop into a bucket next to my workbench. The front grill is 1/8? thick cast acrylic that was laser cut into honeycomb. The top of the case has a smoked acrylic "moonroof" window. The clear side panel has embedded magnets. Both of these window panels are made by Mnpctech. It allows you to look into the PC from above. It has a machined aluminum 120mm ring / fan grill that emulates a fuel fill port on a race car. The ring has blue anodized washer with socket head screws. The rear fan grill is machined aluminum 120mm "Overkill" Ring. All of the fans are Scythe Gentle Typhoons AP-15. Part# D1225C12B5AP-15, 1,850 rpm, 28 dBA @ 57.68062 CFM. Unfortunately these cooling fans are no longer made by NIDEC SERVO, but there is still some available from online retailers. Dazmode sells similar version called the ?DarkSide Gentle Typhoon Performance Radiator Fan? They have good static pressure and under volt nicely. You can easily dismantle them for custom paint.

PC build inside a budget tempered glass case the Corsair SPEC-04.
Everything is good in this case except one thing, personally I feel the front panel should be on the tempered glass side.
