This is what i required for 3.4Ghz stable in the end, any other settings get errors in Prime Blend. Why do i have to do so much!
I have not tried Ketz mBios yet, do you think it will be possible to get back to PL10, i couldnt maintain stability when i tested it before.
I can 535x10 whit NL2 an whit watercooling 512x8 Q6700 G0,but have sold my motherboard now,and put the CPU in an old ASUS P5K for my wife:)
but must have some ram that can withstand anything volts to oc on this motherboard 2.3/2.45v this is my advice Cellshock PC8000 cl4
have never even used KET bios when I 2 bios, and both had a poor performance
Hi Gaul so you think that With the Mbios On the P5Q Deluxe and a Q6700 will be able to achieve 4ghz stable??
Really thinking you are totally cpu/ram limited.... don't think a modded bios will help you here... also you are running 8Gb which puts far mor stress on the NB, have you tried with 4 ? have you even tried my suggestions ?
I have tried with a 9 multiplier but i cant get it near 3.4 stable at all  so ill try with less memory maybe it will relise some stress od the NB like you say...
i just like to puss it to its linit to unleash the full potential of the CPU... :D
you will get far better overal results with higher FSB, 3.6 with 400FSB and rams at 1000/1066Mhz will be for sure as fast as ya current setup running +3.7GHz. You really need to chill on them volts they are useless and will only degrade ya mobo/CPU in the long run...
Start with this and 4Gb, first only test prime Small FFT, to get ya CPU first stable, don't start off with LinX or co plz

am really appresiating taking your time to show me your bios times and volts but when i set your times it wont even load windows .... also i got vista 64 i suppose that would generate more stress making the CPU act at 64 bits?? donno dude ill try with lower timings on the ram...
is there a way of dissabling S.M.A.R.T. on the HDD?
Sorry guys they setting did work :yepp: i forgot just forgot to turn down a multipler LOL ill try to get the FSB Higher... good luck Marvin
So you are at 3.6 now ? Stable ?
Yeah thanks guys for helping me out right now my Pc is doing 3.6~ :D and the Ram at 1077~ so am quite happy thanks on particular as always to Leeghoofd
well maybe you can get more, dunno, what volts are you running now ? for Vcore and co ? temps idle and loaded ? maybe we can go 3.8 daily and 4Ghz for benches... (you got some OC profiles so they can come in handy)
Ok so my set up is this:
Bios 2201
404 X 9
Ram 1077
6-6-6-18-4-55
CPUv 1.55
CPU GTL both auto i heard that they help bring stabily to your system but donno how to use it ....
CPU PLL 1.60
FSBv 1.28
NBv 1.30
NB GTL auto
SBv auto
am running a decent watercooling i made myself at load it reaches 55c which isnt that much i recon...
is it very stable right now and am happy ill try bringing it little by little
one thing everytime i try to do 3D mark 06 it crashes after the first test is doesnt BSOD but it just says "idirect3ddevice9 present failed device lost d3derr_devicelost":confused:
Try once with ya rams in sync so 808Mhz with 5-5-5-15 timings, see if the error still persists... could be that ya card is OC'ed too high for 3D06... I have that with my 285 once I go over 755 GPU speed
I think with the new voltages ya mobo and CPU are happier too
thank you very much ill try the new settings on the ram and the gpu is set to default....
ill let you know matey
i dont get why when i load 3d mark 06 on the setting it comes up as 4040 mhz??
when it should be 3.7 is it not reading that the multiplier is 9 not 10?....
and after it crushes it restarts my graphic driver and sets it to lower 3d??? 399 mhz.... so i gotta restatr the machine uderwise i play like if i had my old 6600 Gt  anyway i show a screen shot....
by the way ho do i upload a pic from my pc?? :ROTF:

3DMark takes as default multi 10 so don't worry there... also when you run 3dmark close all that crap on the right hand side of ya screen (this to avoid issues with stability) Your card goes into some safe mode (check temps, try another driver version etc... also did you lock PCI-E frequency at 100 or 101 ?
For ya pictures plz upload them to eg imageshack or co and take it at 1280 or so res Max... otherwise it will be far too small to look at
Seriously chill on the voltage. With 8gb and a quad of ram you need to fine tune your vcore, vtt, and nbGTL. Your pushing way too much on everything and not enough vtt. Just pumping more voltage will only make things worse.
Also, like Leeghoofd said you might want to start with 4gb of ram so you can get an idea on what your board and cpu likes. Then once you get that stable pop in the other kit and do some fine tuning.
ok thanks dude i been running at 3.8 and at 800 mhz of ram 1:1 then when i saw that was stable i then when to 1066 mhz and surprisely it finished the test prety stable so i left it as it is..... i also have the latest drivers for the card and is a 275 GTX is not an amazing card but it did do 19000+ so am happy at that score... also i have run the PCIe at 100 cos i dont think turn it up does more good than bad .... and the temp on it are pretty good 60 max on load.
about uploading the pics if i use the tools on the forum it tells to upload the pic on 600 by 600 which is pretty low res anyway as always thanks Leeghoofd for explaining matey

Alright i dont think that 1.55 on the CPUv is that much.. or 1.6 PLL plus i get it stable and i dont know how to adjust NB GTL so i wont touch it  dont wanna kill the NB i dont think ill go any higher here so i wont try thanks anyway and by VTT you mean FSB voltage?? is set to 1.3...
Finally go it running @ 500fsb..

@leehg
what do you think, my vcore is at 1.4v lower than that it will not even post..
