I've set DRAM Voltage : 2.1 but still no luck.
Ok, since I have the exact ram you're running, also in 4x2gb let me say this. 1081 is really really pushing them over the edge, especially with a quadcore. I bet 1066 will run with 2.1v vdimm as Grnfinger suggested. At 1066, you may even be able to drop the performance level to 7.
You can forget high fsb and run 9x400 and 1066 on ram PL6.
I haven't been getting updates from this thread lately. How's the 0403 bios for the Rampage hack? I'm still on 0308.
I've had 3 different sets of this RAM now, and you are hitting the top. I'm suprised it's not POSTing and least.
Have you pulled 2 sticks out and ran 2x2GB just to see where the weakness is? I'd try that just to see how much each set can do alone. Made any skew adjustments(Advanced 300 or 350)?
If you want to translate this Everest to BIOS settings you can try this, it worked with 2x2gb. If I didn't maunally adjust settings and just left them auto there was a few settings that wouldn't let me hit 565 until I adjusted manually.

Hear is a question that was maybe answered in this monster thread. Can we just share BIOS profile files for same revision BIOS? I had 2 boards here and never got around to trying USB flash swap of profiles between machines. SOmetimes I write down setting that worked and other times I don't would be nice to just name the fle and share the file.
Also, good link to pdf with settings...

i''m tested Q6600 now. About CPU:
http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/7938/vidat6.th.gif
VID=1.313 :(
On 450*8 this CPU demands for stable Vcore=1.54. My aircooling don't copes for 450*8 when set Vcore=1.54
But down i found stable for my Q6600 on aircooling:

Anyone with the 1066 rated G.Skills? Care sharing a dump file? Thanks.
Even with 9x400 and 1066 on PL6, mine doesn't still doesn't work.
Ok I will give that a go.
Also everytime I make any changes to the bios, when save and exit, mine never post. I always have to turn off and on before I see the OC failed message.

may be playing with DRAM CLK Skew on Channel A / DRAM CLK Skew on Channel B help for you. And You сan tested different bios - RF0403 have greater compatibility for DDR
run 9x400 set the ram to 800MHz 5-5-5-18 auto the rest of the timings.
1.49NB volts is way to low for 8GBs. set to 1.55 for now.
set Trans booster clock twister, dram static all to auto,
now boot the :banana::banana::banana::banana:, if it still wont go, then you must have mis matchd ram or the overclocking gods are not smiling on you
This is probably a stupid question to ask.
I've bought 2 sets of these G.SKILL DDR2-1000 PC2-8000. Now does it matter that set 1 and set 2 can be mixed up? Meaning do I have to put set 1 in the blues, and set 2 in the white? If that is the case, I didn't do it. :shakes:

let us know how you make out, come hell or high water will get this thing running
yes please put the same ram in the same slots
My computer randomly restarts like someone has pushed the power button. It started just the otherday. Also after it happens if I run mem test and I get ram errors. However if I power down, shut the computer off I am fine and pass mem test again. I can then use the computer for several hours but it starts happening again? Is anyone else having this problem. This happens with on stick of ram in or two sticks , unoverclocked system or stock clocked system it doesn't matter? Help!!!!
Ok I flashed bios to 403; and with the above setting, it posted and start to boot up Windows but it kept rebooting during the windows load screen.
