that was OCCT test not torture yes?
I hate you all guys with damn good proc...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :P
Me i can't hit even 2900.....around 315*9 at 1.55v :(....maybe poor cooling ?
<- still at 2600 no matter the voltage.Quote:

Vcore in Windows and SuperPi8M stable with 3200+ 0517BPEW
* 1.5V 3103MHz
* 1.55V 3156MHz
* 1.6V 3201MHz
So 0.05Vcore and ~50MHz SuperPi8M stable, most test 1.7V ~3.3GHz :D
But that will be tomorrow :nono:
It needs alot volt.. 1.616v @ 2650 atm.. testing 32MQuote:

buy a H2O cooling oder improve your zalman(i did it you must only do 2 80mm fans at the sides :) )
i hope i can get 3000 mhz stable with my 0517 dpmw :cool:
we will see...... :slobber:
@sai
freundliche anrede bei deiner location :slap:
Would a 9 multiplier make a difference? :confused:Quote:

no it woudn´t;)
why:confused:
NiCKE^ asked me first. :D I have no idea. Did find something funny. Was stuck at 2.75 Ghz and then decided to take the CPU and the memory out the equation by dropping the multiplier and using a divider. Then I upped the FSB to over 300 and my system still work. After that I tried to overclock further than 2.75 Ghz and I got to 2.83 Ghz. No idea what my tests changed. :confused:
i know;)
its my opinion;)
i benched @ 2772 but i can´t get under 30s with my venice:(
AllBrain, you will get higher memory frequency but that might don't give you any performance boost.
Now I see what you mean. My memory is already uisng a divider, so I will not be using a lower multiplier. Thanks anyway... :)Quote:

You shouldn't use divider if you can run without it ;) How good is the Ballistix?
Have to try another bios.. 510-2 atm.. gonna try 310pQuote:

Those 0518's are lookin' just like my 0516EPKW.....I need 1.72v for 2.7GHz, and can't get any farther then that on air cooling. However, dropping the comp in the freezer for 15-20C load temps pushes me to about 2.9GHz with only about the same voltage...so it's good to know it's just temps holding me back and it would be worth throwing a Pelt or Phase at this thing. :)
Tried to use cpu burn-in and then lower vcore a little bit Cornelious?
Anyone have 3200+ 0518 APAW ?
How exactly does this work ? Run Burn-in for xx hours and then lower the vcore ? Or while burning ?Quote:
