@Rmc, I did a quick check on the number of projects completed and the marked difference is; you have completed 10x2414's compared with my 25x2414's. Quite disparate.
Something must be wrong on your side, particularly as your ppd has been significantly higher in the past. :confused:
I'm glad that I've bigger gap against this bunch of folders :bows:... maybe should do some investments before you are too close :shakes: :eh:

My assignments aren't associated with a name... I keep getting them from 171.65.103.158. But I have confirmed that this IP is neither assign, assign2, or assign3. http://assign.stanford.edu is 171.65.103.93. Looks like i'm getting assignments from outer space.
Do you get 2414's on all of your machines, or just your Main? My P4 can't handle many of the WUs that my C2D does... I get EUE's all the time. If you are getting 2414's on all of your machines, that would probably explain the disparity.
I want to buy a dual Clovertown machine, but I don't have $5,000. :( I would be tough to compete with then. ;)

Well I was hoping to be home free here with my new opty and overclocking it but I've got some trouble with temps and what looks to be a bad IHS mount :( See here if you like
Well after quite a bit of frustration and work I got my opty at a good 2.8GHz :woot: CPU can go higher, but heat became an issue. Now I need watercooling to get this chip up to what it is capable of :D And between last night and most of today I got 3 of my folders in a new case together :) I'll take some pics of my creation when I get a chance.
Between all that my production suffered quite a bit for a little while :( But I'm back up, now with another CPU core going :D
Just read through your thread again, amazing job on the IHS man :up: 5.6Ghz of AMD in a box makes for a very nice folder.
I'm trying an old MSI 754 board today, to replace a horrible Gigabyte my Sempron's in at the moment - If I can stably get a few hundred extra Mhz out of it then I'll swap 'em.

A few reasons for this: I was away for 3 days over the weekend and came back to a BSOD on Server; a '...with the same machine id' message on Main and hence only one core was working (I don't know why I keep getting this message, I reconfigured both clients in an attempt to fix this recently too :confused:); and I'm getting a plethora of weird and wonderful but poultry little WUs for the last week!!!
To top it off, Need For Speed Carbon was released here in Sydney last week and well, er... you know... we all have our game addictions, right? Poor F@H suffers on Main while the CPU is working away on blistering race driving speeds :hrhr:
Driving games are my favourite games and the NFS series are my favourite driving games. :D I'm 90% through 'career mode' already so it shouldn't be long before I only play an hour or so a day instead of er... 16hrs :p:
My PPD is down at the moment because of those days over the weekend, but it should improve soon as production is back up again (impacted now only by my gaming ;))
Here is an idea:
delete the FAH config files for both of the clients and reconfigure them. Also double-check that each client has the -local flag. I'll bet though that it is the client config is acting up so deleting and redoing it might help.
Guildwars interrupts my GPU output for a few hours a day at the moment, although NFS:Carbon does look tempting; it's like sc00p always says, the only games a folder should play are board games :D
Funny you mention BSOD GAM, I keep seeing them recently on a variety of customer's machines. Make a note of the Stop Code if you see it again, then search MS Technet for any clues, they're usually pretty vague mind you.

@Jimwah, I had to reinstall bloody HP all-in-one drivers recently and this always seems to stuff things up. I got sick of it and haven't been bothered to fix it yet. ...too many things on my plate between, mods, work, NFS;), organising audio and video files, recovering a corrupted HD, etc etc. The world of GAM is collapsing :shakes: ;)

Now tell me that doesn't look bad! only 73 WU's yesterday, 20k points.... That is awful! What happened yesterday? :confused: as of mid-afternoon we were at 18k and we only did 2k more points in the next 8 hours? Something is wrong with that... :(

Yeah yesterday was a complete nose-dive, looking at a few ppl's output it looks like virtually all of us had a bad-day yesterday [me included]. Something is going on here, and our active users has dropped too :fact: :nono:
All we can do is fold on & keep praying the Gods of The Assignment Server will be smiling on us tomorrow - and won't smite us with 99x or Ambers :bows:
