quoting tsan from hwbox.gr :D
its msi 890fxa gd70 and 1.825 vdimm:)
My Elpida hyper can reach 6-6-5-15 1T at 1600 (2000 / 7-7-8-21) at 1.7V. But one day suddenly it died.................:(
The model was G.SKILL Perfect Storm 6GB Triple kit - I used it on AMD 890FX, used only two, reserved one for emergency use.
(Fast review on that memory: http://udteam.tistory.com/123)
(The review is written in Korean - sorry for that, but I'm sure everyone is able to understand it via screenshots :D)
mine 2000c8 corsair can do ~1840 6-6-5-17 @ 1.82v :D on asus c4e
fed them with 1.93v to see what will happen but cant stabilize them @ 1600 5-6-5 :(
Wow 1.93V is quite a lot for Hypers i think! Not degraded after that?
nah, hypers aren't that fragile.
i've a set of kingston that run at least 200 hours (most of them with intel 1366) at 1.95 volt in the past year and till now no degrading or dead stick.
tsan, which bios of the MSI 890FXA-GD70 did you used?
is this a Good/ Bad/ OK RAM for AMD?
Super Talent 1600 9-9-9-25 but i'm running it at 8-8-8-25-1T

Same as here, I think you can go further.

That set should be capable of much higher than 1840 at 7-7-7. Is it just the X6 IMC that's limiting you?
In fact, those A-data kits were generally close to the GTX2 in overclocking performance... wouldn't surprise me if you could do 1850 6-6-6 with 1.7V or less.
