@blind_ripper : ok freind I will show this picture my setting on bios.....:)

and boot from bios FSB 610
http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/6255/mg6423sw3.jpg
where did you get bios 505? i think CPU skews are all that is needed for huge FSB on prior bioses there wasnt skew adjustments for CPU.
I have to get BIOS 505 off of my board. I cannot even POST past 490FSB with it.
I'm trying to use AFUDOS to force a flash back to 151 and every single time it says that it cannot read the ROM file....
I'm getting very very very frustrated with this board.....
I have an E8400 Q807A177
The addes NB and CPU skew in the 505 bios, what does it do , i mean what does it set?
those who got 600+ fsb, did you adjust those settings?
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=385852
leaf the skew on auto i say :D
settings will follow
for 610 i could boot and bench with pl10 , 620fsb pl12 , 630fsb pl13 , 645fsb pl14 :D , yep that's mine .
cpu is great 4.9ghz air screen with 1.6vcore and it loves LN2 :D
It was the only BIOS that allowed me to run over 500FSB....
But NOW, that I'm back to 151 after a force flash from 505, I cannot boot over 490FSB, the same prob I had with 505.....
I'm either going to RMA this board or just get rid of it...
I've done nothing but fight this board for weeks trying to find stable settings....stability is just waaay to inconsistent.
EDIT: I'm now on BIOS 204. I was able to go to 535FSB with that BIOS. I am now pretty sure that my memory is dying on me....it is showing ALL of the signs that are typical of dying modules from my experience. Memtest86+ throws thousands of errors at SPD timings on these sticks.....not only that, very weird thing is that the board will not POST with the RAM at SPD, timings have to be tighter than SPD to POST! lol
Once I get some new sticks, i'm now eager again to try 505, espeically that i know there is a way to flashback to something older if i need to.
The few that have used 505 other than myself have gotten GREAT results, so there has to be something to this BIOS that is good!
This is crazy i've never seen such an improovement over a bios update.
FSB 600 without even pushing it (before i max out at 550 FSB).
Vcore 1.3625
Vnb 1.51v
VPLL 1.78
VFSB 1.3v

That's incredible!
I'm going to try the 505 BIOS again as soon as i get some new RAM....all of my instability and random BS is coming from them - has to be....read a few posts up where I edited.
Wow I'm seeing dramatic improvements with this new bios too.
I could hardly boot at 550fsb before.. Now passes p95 large fft @ 570fsb PL8!
Vnb 1.53, vpll 1.58, vfsb 1.28

It's been said a million times before with asus bios' but if they could put out a bios where all straps and dividers worked fully then this would be the mother of all S775 boards. If it isn't already.
The amazing thing is that i've been folding for 12 hours straight right now at eh same settings.
Set-UP

And loving this rig
Great results with the 0505 bios guys! I´m also happy with it, works like a charm!
Not the highest or tightest ramklocks but a nice 24/7 setting wich was what I was aming for! Playing with my A-Data sticks is real fun, need to torture them before i get my Mushkin PC14400 kit later this week :)

Anyone with a quad using 505 ??? :rolleyes::rolleyes:
PLEASE, everybody, when posting happy having successful results, make a good deed, and don't forget sharing with the rest of us all your tweak settings (especially all voltage ones).
THANK YOU :)
Here are my quick runs on 0505 bios. I haven't had a chance to run 3D or 32M yet. I will post more results and more detailed info once I get some more free time.
Here is a link to my thread if you want to see results prior to 0505 bios. I don't think 0505 allowed me to get much higher on the FSB but did allow me to become Prime stable at a much higher FSB. I just got a second G.SKill kit yesterday to bump me up to 4GB and they also have D9GTS IC's like my current kit.
Here are my settings, not so overclocked but STABLE.
I was running Prime 95 for 8 hours without any errors.
Very Happy with bios 0505

you know I have a feeling Asus found something when looking to fix the P5Q3 deluxe issues with 4GB ddr3 p45 board, and now have started to add these tweaks to the X48 boards.
