Stylist have you tried updatign the bios could be an issue there? Also I think i'd be more incline to think the board to be at fault. Test the ram in a friend system if you have someone close to you or test with a diff ram if you have some.

I tried different versions (701/801/901 -> back to 801) without any positiv result.
In my opinion it's the combination of the ASUS P5W DH and the Teamgroup RAM (ratio/latency issue above FSB400 / DDR2 800).

Ones again:

Can anyone confirm that the RAM works with the ASUS P5W DH at high FSB without any problem or without the need to use "Auto" option or SPD timings in bios?

I can only use it above FSB 280 with 1:1 and Auto what means timings of CL 5-6-6-18.

I cant get over 175 fsb with a Celeron D. Im waiting for my Allendale to show up.. I dont think its the ram. i think its the fricken board. I went back to 701.. If i leave timings to auto, i can hit 175.. if i try higher, i get stuck in this loop of default clocks and it wont go any higher than stock clocks.

I use it with an retail Allendale (E6400 tray) and it does FSB400 and more but only with "Auto" settings in bios.

I think it is the board, too.

this was the best benchable that i could have, i dont understand the rest of the timings od DDR2 so left them in AUTO.

930D (almost default, it was only to see the max on ram) + DS3
ddr840 3-3-3-8
vdim a 2,4v
note - TRAS is 8 and not 9 like cpuz show´s, is a bug.

if anyone can help to get more fsb and better timings i´ll apreciate :)

TeamXtream's customer service is crazy, they took care of a problem I had nearly instantly with no questions asked. That alone makes we a customer for life to be honest.

Special thanks also to TankGuys, they also went beyond the call of duty!

Will be testing the new TeamXtreme sticks over the weekend, can't wait. :)

This stuff is smokin'. I've got 4x1GB sticks, and three of them are virtually identical to one another. (Fourth is about 10MHz below) Obviously have been screened very vigorously. I wasn't expecting them to be nearly as fast or as consistent.

So far I've done SuperPi 1M at 430MHz 3-3-3 and 530MHz 4-4-4 with 2.4v.

wa77ss, maybe try for 450 at CAS 3? Might actually be possible since you got single sided sticks. I have a feeling mine can do it once I get my board modded.

Several of my friends did in fact. One of them has hit 400MHz 3-3-3 solid with 2.2v.

Vapor posted here earlier as well, unfortunately his luck wasn't so good. Something like 370 3-3-3 and 450 4-4-4 IIRC. Might be a fluke or something else gone amiss.

I think all the 4 chips will do 450 mhz cas 4-4-4 with 2.25 V guaranteed but I`m curious what the difference of these sticks is with cas 3-3-3-8 and all with the same voltage :)

I just ordered two of the 2x512MB 3-4-4-8 kits from Tank Guys since i need 2 gigs and that's about $50 cheaper then the 2x1GB modules and i'll get 4-way bank interleaving. The ones being sold from Tank Guys right now will still overclock to like 900-1000MHz+ won't they?
