If the AGP works at full speed (which, I think it does) this could have the potential to be the next ASRock 939Dual for the Conroe world.
NCIX staff tested it and say that it works fine with Conroe in the comments section.
Does the PCI-E slot run at X4? Cuz I was under the impression it was also full speed.

I wouldn't touch a Via board with a 100ft pole..
At under $100 and for those still using AGP based Quadro cards.....it's definitely something to consider.

Board choice is more essential.

the support site is not yet updated with core 2, but what other new cpu's are there?
So, are the P5W DH's in their current form a viable platform to run a C2D on? Right now I'm not too concerned with the overclocking, just need something that works, plus I'm not really oriented on OC knowledge. As RD600 is still a ways out, I'm looking for something nice and reliable to keep things working.
I think we have to make a poll which MOBO should be the best for C2D...available at the moment :rolleyes:

You heard it hear, second! :p: Totally mediocre. 4x PCI-E, 20-pin connector & Fsb adjustment only. But it's relatively cheap.
I see the P5WD2-E Premium rev 1.3 makes the list, so am I safe to assume the rev, 1.0 definitely does not support Conroe?
