Some Gigabyte mobo, Turbo or something, don't remember the exact name.Quote:

I lose 3 bays with the rad.
Besides my sloppiness of my wire organization(hehe). It's about to get more crowded I'm adding two more raptors, they come next week :D. I'm still figuring out where to put them.Quote:

thx :). My water "blubbers" in my res. Thats the reason why i will have a bigger one.Quote:

Nanometer, that galaxy PSU is a monster sized one, lucky you don't have an iwaki rd30 in there too like what Phelan's planning...
Phelan why not get the 150GB raptors? same performance i think and bigger data space too...
Yeah, no kiddin'. I have a PolorFlo block on my 7800GS. Not what I had wanted to work with, but it gets the job done.Quote:

Thanks. I stopped at the hardware store today and picked up some hex screws.
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...icture19-1.jpg
yay loks even better! i wish i could do that. matte black grill with the hex heads!
Can anyone direct me to where I can buy cheap USB 2.0 and Firewire extension cables for the internal headers? The cables right now just barely reach the ports on my motherboard, and I would really like to hide them. I could move the front panel further down below my drives, but I like having it at the top and would rather keep it that way. This is the Blue Special Edition Stacker, by the way. Thanks!
PS - what do I need to use to clean off the fingerprint smudges from the purdy brushed aluminum? A damp towel doesn't seem to do it to well.
damp? try dry towel
not sure if i counts....

Danger Den TDX 1/2" (w. LED Holes)
Eddy EK X18
Repack Black UV 5.25" Res.
Laing DDC1 with Alphacool top.
BIX2 with 4 Noise Blocker SX2 fans (Push-Pull)
1/2" ID, 3/4" OD Tubing
it did have a chipset block, but it was a b*tch to plumb, so i got a Zalman passive heatsink instead......
it should be all finished off tommorow...!
hmm Mankz i would suggest using some high flow fittings instead of those Perfect Seal fittings you have attached to your pump...
well i suppose if you're using 1/2 id tubing you won't really have a problem fitting your tubing on it, but the added lip of the said barb would cause some turbulence thereby reducing some flow. this is why i suggested using High Flow fittings. there are numerous threads in this section explaining the reasoning why perfect seal fittings are not recommended.
care to explain...????
They cause some turbulence, which means you'll have some more flow loss.
Very small and probably unnoticeable though, not worth the trouble if you haven't got High-Flow barbs around. You're using 1/2''ID tubing anyway.
its ok, ive got some high-flow barbs as well.....
How about using the top inlet instead of the front? It will give you higher flow. (Why go for 3rd party top if not because you want to use top inlet?Quote:

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...1/PA260180.jpg
the fans are being restrcted by the front, nd its gonna be cut next week.
And also, isn't the pump pumping water INTO the res? Or am I misreading the picture? Seems like the tubing coming from the drive bays goes into the inlet, and then from pump to reservoir. That isn't optimal, and I just learned why (new thread in this section :P)
it goes...
res - pump (top inlet, side outlet) - res - CPU - GPU - res..
the outlet curls round an into the near side of the BIX2
Sorry, you posted after I started writing, I was referring to the guy before you (cl4w) :PQuote:

Nice Rig FunkFlix!
@ FunkFlix, I don't like the rads and their location, but that is a matter of taste ;) Why not just use one 3*120mm rad?
The work you have made looks great :) And the inside is so nice and clean that it makes my little tidy up part of the brain cry for some of that in mine ;)
Thanks both! :toast:
I use the two radiators, because i had the one on the roof 2 years earlier, and i did not wanted to take it off, because of the holes and and that stuff. :)
very neat interior on your rig funkflix.
Final update on current setup :
New window: non UV reactive makes for a cleaner appearance imo.
Had a 'dabble' with some UV paint.
Gonna be upgrading to 1/2 tubing and WC the 7950GX2 next.

that looks :pimp: wat kind of tower is that? did you that panel?
Looks good Ic3man! :)
Too thin tubing though...
@ Bad213Boy. It's an Antec P180 with a custom made window.
he'll pimp it.Quote:

Cheers guys:D
Yeah I made the window (3 times in all until I got it right lol). It was a damn sight easier than cutting the holes for the triple rad though.
Its not the GX2 thats crooked its the XFI card. The inlet tube on the DDC is pushing it up slightly at the front end but in the photos it does look like the gx2 is wonky. As stated I'm going 1/2 when the spacer kit arrives so alot of stuff will have to be moved around so that will be sorted. I'll lose the SB waterblock (not needed except for bling purposes:D ) and I'm gonna try my hardest to mount the res somewhere internally...running out of space rapidly now tho:(
Just another liquid cooled cube :D

hmm hey G, do you have other pics of it? like the components inside pc by pc and not just the radiator. tnx
we'd also like to know what your pc's specs are that warants a 120.3 radiator...
Ic3man, nice case :).
u're uv maniac :D.

Like Phelan said, not a competition but please do post yours. This thread is always a nice source of ideas for cleaner looking systems :toast:
Anyway, liquid_cooled's systems is just :slobber: :slobber:

G11 + white CCFL (I think) looks so damn hot that I'm doing that combination on my next case
beautiful bullit. love it!
a very clean install on that bullit. only cons is small tubing.
(hmm would also suggest we maintain some General Patronage rating for those young ones)
Nice case old Brawd but still not good enought, funny, coolermaster cases are always good to work with, one would say they are the best aftermarket cases on the market.Quote:

Nice pictures people. Getting some nice ideas for my case :)
Just a quick question though..do any you have performance numbers of not having a water res vs having one? Im starting to lean towards not having one..I was just going to do CPU first..and add the GPU later when new g80 cards come out. :)
Unless I'm confused a res is just to put more surface water to dissipate heat faster right?
Well so far people have resevoirs to bleed air bubbles out of their system. Running a t-line can take you an hour or even longer to bleed out the entire system, while running a res it might take you seconds.Quote:

Thread cleaned. Back on topic. :)
much thanks mods.
i cant wait, i finally got my new mobo after 3 weeks, so now i can put all ma updated WC parts in and hopefully have some nice pics worthy for hte thread to come in here. loop rebuild here i come!
Very, very nice Boiler. Any more pics? What kind of coolant are you using to get the blue effect? I have some pentosin on the way for mine.Quote:

NysoO nice colors you have there.
Sick rig dude. Specs??
@Xion: That's not my case, it's Liquid Cooled's as I refered. His case is at page 17 (max posts/page). But it does look damn nice. I think his coolant is Pentosin G11, atleast it's the only one I know that does that sexxxxxai crystal clear blue at 90/10.
@NysoO: Pretty big and very nice! Those cables block the view a bit though. Like the colors :toast:
@septim: Thanks :)
@NickS: Nothing special really.
CPU: Intel P4 NW, 2,8ghz @ 3,4ghz, Maze3
GPU: X800pro, Maze4
Reservoir: Baytank single 5,25
Pump: Before I had a 1250, but I discovered that a 1048 did the trick. Its not a restrictive system.
Rad: From an old volvo, here is a pic: The rad
Motherboard: P4P8X
Powersupply: OCZ modstream 450W
@Boiller: Yeah I know, but the cables were so stiff so it was hard to make the cablemanangement nice :/
NysoO i have the same Mobo there, but my cpu is a 3.0 Prescott, could not OC pass 3.25 instability issues with stock NB sink.
I had a northwood 2.8 before, should not have upgraded to the Prescott tsk tsk...
i know what you mean by stiff tubing, looks same as mine which i had to muscle behind my mobo try via some 2inch hole i made hehehe.
you'd probably have to wire it 1 by 1 starting with the smaller wires then last the atx20/24 molex, try put them behind the elbowed bay res, and don't give up because they're stiff, you can do it!
will post soon....getting the finishing touchies on the paint job

How do you like that case? I'm looking into that one for newer case. I got a old inwin tower case that is just to huge :) Any complaints with it?
sladesurfer with those reduced length tubing you rig look very nice indeed.
btw are you sure that output tubing from the storm will not kink like that? seems too twisty...

nice comp, can't wait for more pics ;)
Thx marauder16. I'd love to take some descent photos, just waiting to borrow my friends digital camera. My rig looks so messy, or something, it's just something i'm not happy with  Guess I'll redo some cable management and so son :)

Primoflex 1/2" :)
It's actually tinted inside with green, I suspect from algae :(
ttbw block! from that picture it almost looks atractive! :p:
Haha...*realizes it's a TTBW block and sighs*..
hehe, don't be afraid, normally I'm using blocks like these:

http://www.4eweb.de/pc/xp02.jpg
etc.. ;)
There will be a waterblock round-up soon.. :)
Sexy :)
I'm currently in the design of waterblocks, garnering ideas from everyone, working on my own improvements, etc.- It's nice to see some custom-made ones every once in a while :)
Two more blocks for you guys:

^That is why I like Germany- Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, etc.
We need more of that in American products. I'm not knocking our brand, just that it would be nice to have better attention to detail.
spent more time waiting for the pump rma than the build lolQuote:
