Are you referring to the paint? Its a black wrinkle finish. Case is a MountainMods Pinnacle 18.

Edited the last couple of pages ... since the thread has been MIA for a few days, I guess the rules BEAR (grrrrrrowwwllll ;) ) repeating:
Quote:
Four Simple Rules:
1) No larger than 1280 x 1024 pixel (but 1024 x 768 pixel is preferred),
2) The limit on the number of pictures is 4 per case (if you want to post more than 4 pictures, use thumbnails or post links without using the IMG tags),
3) Do not quote images,
4) Finished cases only, no worklogs.
Optionally, it would be nice if you could list your water cooling components.

@ dunway - whoa, that's a great color combination. Loving the bright yellow case.
@ Boxegar - nice first post  and welcome to XS.
Very nice clean tubing scamps
Any chance for a shot of the rad(s) ?
Scamp: isn't it worth to turn in horizontal plane 90 degrees pump and use some less curved fitting (eg. some 90 degrees double(tripple?) rotary which looks like consisting of two 45deg). This way tubing should still look stright from side, and one 90deg fitting less ..
Hmm, i wonder if something can be done with last diagonal piece of tubing from cpu waterblock to mosfet one :) .. some smartly placed/turned 45deg rotary magic? :)
Pretty simple compared to all to amazing work on here, but it's coming along. :)

:up:Nice job with the colors. That M/B is hard when it comes to getting everthing flowing togather in a build. Once again nice job!
All blue obsidian. Looks real nice (except maybe night shot with led lightning .. i'm guessing it's red light from below, that spoils look in my eyes)
Any worklog link? I'm interested in how well those NoiseBlockers work with mesh/dust filter restriction.
Thanks man. I really couldnt find a UD7 with the EK blocks on it to get an idea on how it would look with the tubing run. The fittings are close which forced me to use 3/8" id 5/8" od tuging due to the tight bends and lack of space between the fittings on the NB SB block.
I have a work log on here but it aint much. Here is the link though
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=248425
I know what your talking about with the night shot. The red light is from the dbug led on the MB. Im guessing a piece of tape could solve that problem :). Im sure that my terrible camera work doesnt help either.
Everything looks good, but something is missing, I just can't seem to figure it out, but there just isn't enough 'pop'. Maybe it's just the flash is washing out the colors and preventing the 'pop'.
Really looks great though, super clean. How are you liking those Noise blockers, been meaning to try some out.
Edit: Maybe try getting some natural light into the room and turning your flash off, could definitely show off how well all of your blues match. I believe the natural light will also show off the Corsair black paint as well and prevent some of the graying.
I think your tubing arrangement can be improved, especially on the vid card.
I think your tube routing could look a lot cleaner. Just as a question, did you go with the misconception that some parts in the loop should go before others to receive 'cooler' water?
I will try some other solutions next weekend ;)
Thanks. The rad (PA140.3) is put somewhere under my desk :)

Lately it seems that Corsair Obsidian 800D cases are taking over TJ07's spot of most popular one :)
Lovely build. I like that minimalistic tubing and easy to use drain.
Dual DDCs are overkill for such unrestrictive loop imho. :)
Just a few pics from my log over on OCAU..
I did have a 295 in the loop until i forgot the thremal paste on the sli chips... /facepalm

EVGA Classified E760 (P6T until its back from RMA)
Intel i7 920
Corsair Dominator GT 1866
Probably going to put a 5870 in the loop when i can afford it
Let me know what you think, cheers!
Besides the fact that your avatar is highly disturbing, you have an amazing build :). Great pictures too ;).
looks dope, needs a current pic of your P6T setup.
masska, where's koolroom? :P
its coming matt! My bloody developer decided to go on a holiday without telling me :shakes: The last of my shipments arrives next week (lots of goodies I think you'll like) and I hope to go live early next week. If he decides to take another holiday....look out for me on the six o'clock news:D
How is the pump connected to the res little man? is it a hard connection or just two pieces of small tubes and compressions? also looks like the res is floating i assume it is attached to the mobo tray?
hard connection, bitspower rotary male to male fitting.
Very nice build Little Man, is that Primochill tubing? I got some of that for my build.
Hey Onoff, im just using one of these http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=11941
Bitspower G1/4 Black Sparkle rotary adapter allows you to link two G 1/4" threaded water cooling parts, and rotate your parts 360 degrees so that they are angled in the direction you prefer.
There are 2 res holders there, just they are black and hard to see. The pump just touches the midplate so i probably wouldnt need them anyway.
Thanks Scott, yeah its primochill UV Red :)
Very cool, the tubing doesn't look as great as that w/o water inside of it (or UV lights reacting with it).

MDPC-X Sleeving arrived today, will get it 100% finished sometime soon... for now, cheap ass 'slip over the pcie connector' 2:1 heatshrink and techflex.
DUDE!!! That's amazing! More performance than my current rig... all packed into about half the size! I just can't find anything wrong with that rig!
Seeker-: hats off. Amazing. LOVE minibuilds with tightly packed POWER. :)
@Seeker-
Great! Looks like a lc-Kamasutra ... ;)
@Seeker-
:slobber:... that's just sexy
@seeker - I think that is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Power to size/space ratio is the largest I've ever seen in a build, way to go! I will never understand how you were able to fit everything and run that tubing, I had trouble in some places in my massive 800D  ... if you don't mind, just out of curiosity.. how are the temps in that?
mad props to seeker, having tried and failed at watercooling SFF, that mod is off its tits.
Seeker, great job.. damn. That had to have some planning and custom fitment go into that. All internal water cooling FTW.
Gotta chime in on Seeker's build - outstanding. I've been tempted to try the 92mm rads ... would love to hear your thoughts on performance of the finished system.
Thanks for the kind words guys.
The tubing took around 3 hours to bend and fit. I kept it suspended in boiling water to be able to fit it in tight spaces.
Proflex LRT is much easier to work with than the Tygon R3603 tubing - I hope this primochill tubing goes stiff over time though. If I used proper angled fittings on each component, fitting parts would not have been a hassle at all. (You can see where lots of 90 degree connectors would have been handy)
I didn't drill a single hole or modify the chassis apart from powdercoating it - I was pretty resourceful with how I did things and kept it at a way where I could reassemble and resell if something failed / I lost interest.
The temps are ok. at 3.6Ghz (1.2v) it loads at around 78c with furmark running on the GPU. Idle is around 45c. Ambient 24c.
I'm using the fractal design silent series fans (12dba / 24cfm) and they struggle to push air through the 92mm radiators compared to the noctuas.
The radiators are easily on par with 120mm equivalents due to how freakin' chunky they are.
http://i41.tinypic.com/24passj.jpg
I don't mind too much though, the system is 100% stable at 3.6Ghz, I think I am asking for too much when I want to run such a small, powerful system at 4ghz daily. It adds way too much heat with HT on. (I can't disable HT in the Shuttle BIOS yet)
another pic so i'm not going offtopic hehe
http://www.amnet.net.au/~seeker/shuttle/14.JPG
If you can get those speeds in a little package like that, it's definitely worth it (TWSS...kinda). ranks up there with Malik's builds.
change from dual rad to quad rad..
So ... much ... rad.
Very nice looking rig ... great job.
So is your res not mounted, i.e. is it sitting on top of the dual pump? speaking of which wich pump is that? Nice job again, really like this setup.
Sorry about the poor picture quality.

Wow Laine, very nice! Any chance to get one in daylight?

i HAVE to know where you got the Blue dominator heatsinks?
or did you just have them powdercoated?
Built my first LC setup today. Needs lots of cleaning up and re routing of pipes etc.
Some of the rigs before me here are an absolute work of art. I hope to build something similar to these here some day.
Here is a few shots at my first attempt
@supercopa looks great man i love the blue dominator heatsinks.. i think i need to see some more pics of this one
blueBoXX look awesome :)
Nice job for your first system, Enzo. And, welcome to XS.
Is it possible to straighten the reservoir.
@supercopa
very nice!
may i know what coolant did you use?
Thanks, Altho I feel XS is the cause of my new addiction! :ROTF:
I Did not cut the pipe short enough, hence the angle of the res. Unfortunately the store did not send me all of my order so I cannot drain the system to rectify until I recieve the rest of the parts.
I must admit I am now looking to add to the order for some new things to cool... shame on you XS
Orton very nice i love it!!!
