I've just remounted my DCC. A vertical mount is a no go :mad:
Now its deadly silent :D

Just one little question.
The first day my tubbing was nice and transparent, but now after a few days it's almost white :(
Any idea?

what fluid did you use?

Did you flush the radiator first ? If not, it's the flux from the radiator building process staining the tubing.

I used distilled water and a few drops of anti algae. And i flushed my rad :p
I refilled it last week. The water in my res is clean, but it hate the white look on my Tygon :(

Nice ... why wasn't it silent vertical ? was it what you had it fixed to/the way it was fixed, or purely due to vertical mounting ?

mine is mounted vertically like in the pic... the outlet pointing downward. no problems here.

It might not be pretty but it kicks ass.

RE the large fan: no it is dead silent.

The PC Power 1 KW really amps up under load...and the HD 2900XTs really get loud too when under load.

The inspiration for the mod was an SLR, but he does in fact own an SLK ;)

cyberdruid, is the large 200mm fan from antec by any chance? Same one thats found on the 900, tri-cool?

THe fan is from an Antec 900, I have masses of them around as I mod them..

RE cooling the cards...yes that is in the works.

I have a few other PSUs to choose from but the 1 KW is such a beast :D

The whole rig is ridiculous overkill...silence is not really a factor :p:

Not for the station though...but for an Xternal Kooler I am building...That fan is just insane:up:

From what I have seen of the 2900XT's, your going to smash the 20k as they overclock like demons ... especially when liquid cooled :)
