If you want your Noctua S12 (exhaust) to be fully eficient cut down the grill behind it. You lose a lot of airflow atm because that fan is not designed to have any static pressure, so any small grill behind it will decrease most of it's airflow.
I ran into the same thing on my plain case. It had a lot of restriction so I cut out the fan hole and put in a less restrictive plate that come with the fans anyway. It blows twice as much air now than it did and the fans are turned down and MUCH quieter.Quote:
