No m8. Sorry.
My board doesn`t like higher NB/VFSB-Voltages, but it`s ok, because the low voltages are stable :)
First I had my 450x8 settings from my old SE with 1,29VNB and 1,38VFSB in bios and they didn`t run stable. After going down to 1,25VNB and 1,20VFSB, which is board minimum, the settings were stable.
Here they are again:
The last days, I tried to get 500x7 stable, to get an impression of voltagerange from 450 to 500fsb. So I optimistically tried 500x7 with 1,25VNB and 1,20VFSB, too. Got an OCCT error(slider to ram, very large) after ~8h.Quote:

Then I tried voltages from old SE, 1,29VNB and 1,38VFSB in OCCT, same test but error again after only 2h (after increasing voltage from minimum to a bit higher from after 8h error to after 2h error???).
Tried 1,29VNB but 1,20VFSB and it works, over 11h same test without any error:

Will test slider at cpu and at middle next days and post final 500x7 settings then.
Has anybody else noticed instability because of higher voltage, instead of low voltage? And I am talking about 1,38VFSB, which isn`t much, but I believe my system only runs good at minimum VFSB!?
Here is proper pinout...read voltage from empty DIMM slot, and software IS NOT ACCCURATE. Today I get 2.173 @ 2.1.

2.1v is bios. You can stick small DMM lead into the edge of DIMM socket, at least that's what I did. I've done it this way for ages, as it's what's going directly to the DIMM, and not filtered by some other component or some such nonsense. Don't need to search around for measuring spot on new boards either..same place works on ALL ddr2 boards.
I have a weird behaviour with bioses 090x and i suppose it is my mistake.
Have not tried these on other bioses
I have tested my cpu on Abit IP35 Pro and it can go 530+ FSB.
But in this mobo max i could get was 490.
And all this with divider 6:5 and strap 333.
I really want some advise how can i run 1:1 with either 400/333 straps.
I have tried for 1:1
DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled
Ai Clock Twister : Light
Transaction Booster : Disabled
-Relax Level 0
I think they are loose controler settings...aren't they?
Well I got me Geil Esoteria 2x2Gb it today and that didn't change the fact that the DAMN DIVIDERS ARE STILL UNSTABLE! I really need a stable divider....any divider causes a crash in Prime95 or OCCT, even though the memory tests are stable for hours...HCI memtest, etc.
My CPU OC is rock solid stable.....and I have plenty of NBV.
Has anyone been able to get any of the dividers completely stable after400 FSB?
I'm about to test DDR2-1128 on 400 FSB Strap...it crashed with my Ballistix though.
As grnfinger suggested, play with the transaction booster. It worked for me and it was the only way I could get the dividers stable.
you want VDD. sry it took so long, was sleeping.
That was it!

Nice!
Βios tested 0505,0903,0907.
Strap 222/4:5 for me is unreachable.
The only way i can boot but with error in memtest is:
DRAM Static Read Control: Εnabled/Disabled
Ai Clock Twister : Moderate
Transaction Booster : Disable
Relax Level : 1
I crash in OCCT blended after ~5 minutes with transbooster disabled and relaxed 1.
I am stable at the following settings in OCCT:
FSB Strap 333
FSB 423x8
DDR2-1016
5-5-5-15
VDIMM 2.35 in BIOS (these sticks can go up to 2.5!)
trans booster disabled 2
AI Clock Twister strong
This KILLS bandwidth.......it could be that these Geil sticks have the SPD TRFC as 52....
I am also stable at
FSB Strap 400
FSB 423x8
DDR2-1128
5-5-5-15
VDIMM 2.35 in BIOS (these sticks can go up to 2.5!)
trans booster disabled 2
AI Clock Twister strong
I am going to test these frequencies with trans booster set to 1 and clock twister set to light.....fingers crossed. Hopefully this will help with the bandwidth.
I have my Q6600 at 3.5ghz 1.4V and I was getting some bsod's here and there, so I randomly tried setting my strap to 400mhz and now it's fine (Atleast for all of today). Regardless of the strap to auto or 400mhz I was not oc'ing my ddr2-800... On auto it ran at 775mhz and on 400mhz strap it ran 774mhz.
I'm just wondering if more matters to the proc OC than just the main system voltages. Might seem like a stupid question if it obviously does matter with stuff like this lol
I can not get 3-3-3-10. Kingston6400, KHX6400D2ULK2/2G these are kits of (2x1G), I now have 2 kits 4G total. One time I was able to boot up at these settings, I beleve it's when I had one kit installed only.
Kingston specs say these kits are tested to run @ 800Mhz 3-3-3-10 @ 2.3-2.35v. Spd jedec say 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8 I set my dram v to 2.35, manualy try 3-3-3-10 wont boot up, also tried Comand rate 2t and trans booster disabled, relax level 0.
With everything on auto she will boot up 5-5-5-15 @ 1.97, can even manualy set timings at 4-4-4-12 @ 1.97 but no-go on the 3's.
What can I change?
