I prefer the DFI dimm layout because the airflow in my case can cool the dimms more effectively.
I close off all holes in the sidepanels and just take in the air from the front creating a wind tunnel (opening up the floppy spaces if i have to)
Now all i need is a zalman 9500 :)

now this is 3dstable super pi stable sandra stable etc only think that fails so far is prime.
2 things i would like to note for the rest of you.
1. you will notice that im still using 1t timing at ddr 600. i had no issues in using my timings i've always used.
2. it appears that my temps are not grosely innacurate anymore.

no but it's a heatpipe solution which should be 3.55vdimm like ultra......cheap too....is that the one with 6 channel audio as only difference or is there more to it

their memory controller is a lot better than venice and older cores.........so your temps are reading 86F which is 30C which is correct idle temp......damn it i gotta get a sandy to try it out

why doesn't he post his settings and tests so far so we can see what he's up to to see what can be done
I also believe that Abit requires more volts to reach same MHz as DFI and Asus i had before so BIOS will have to fix that
Tictac...I was going to ask you for a favour since you carry a reputation for good insight into bios files on numerous boards to help me in my thread over at Abit forums to ask Abit engineers to concentrate on specific bios fixes in future BIOS revisions......can you back me up and post a couple of suggestions as your word carries more weight i'm sure...here is the forum(this should hopefully help your mate get higher clocks too if Abit listens)
