According to their site, they only make one type of X800XL and thats the VIVO model :confused: and why would they not use the same powercolor branded cooler like the VIVO ?

That's a 10-4, good buddy. AGP ones seem to clock about the same, but they have a HUGE PCB compared to their PCI-E brethren.

Shouldn't be a problem if its because of the weight. But if it's because the cooler screwed to tight I don't recommend it :p:

Wow, it probably is because of the cooler, maybe you could make a back plate.

well some news....

i ll get into phase change buisness so i didnt get any time to bench now only some for playing league online games :D

so i m building my first onDie+dualevap systems and i m just getting the components now i ve got some good connection to a very friendly person whos in the buisness and he gets me all components i need.

have a friend who can make the evaps maybe i ll do it myself and he only gives me material.

I got my money so i m pretty happy and i ll get that stuff very very! soon. I m looking forward to build my own phase change since a own a mach2 which ll be filled again with r404a.

so give me some time and i l give ya the 7k :D

I wish you the best on your journey to 7k, I know you can do it.. Speaking of dual evap, I scored a 1/3rd hp low temp compressor, and will be ditching the 1/12th and 1/5th cooling my gpu/cpu respectably.. Lets makes some XL history and show those big boys what a mid range card really can do :D

That is seriously impressive. I just put an XL into my Venice and benched it at 3200MHz with clocks at 450/555 and my scores still don't compare to yours. Some serious tweaks you know about that i don't :p: You're pulling more frames than me with 300 less MHz but just using low latency, very well done (granted you have 1mb l2, 300 MHz doesn't make up for this?). You must teach me the ways :toast:

thx, but that's actually pre-tweaks. That's simply win2K + set priority to real-time tweak...
It's the mem b/w of 265mHz REDLINE tight timings and the 1M cache, I suppose...

I have 4.12's, fresh XP install, realtime, run it dl,ll,ch,dh,lh,n,cl....3200MHz, memory 291 2.5-3-3-6, 450/555 and i score 32,000.....is that even right? To me it seems that UTT isn't worth en extra 1000+ points with 300 less MHz to CPU, but i just don't know. Even my x850 XT at 600/600 ties the top XL at 3200MHz! I just don't know what i'm doing i guess :p: Awsome job regardless, i have much respect for hardcore benchmarkers, they truely earn those marks with the tweaking they do.

I am getting terrible nature scores here, seems to be the reason i can't break 32K.

Looks kinda low... even without tweaks on Win XP that 3200MHz CPU should do pretty well.

I decided to throw it in my FX-55 on air while it waits to be sold, and see how much of a difference the 1mb L2 cache made. I ran it at similar clock to Charlie, only using TCCD and XP, as you can see, Win2000 DX8 + UTT is good for almost 3000 marks, pretty crazy stuff. And looking at this score, i can see i had a bad Nature run, cause i used the same clocks, granted i did have different drivers.

With FX-55 on air.
