LOL nice one loud, for sure multiple incoming opas
^1000th post, best place to do it
can we all agree aida is irrelevant on haswell?
AIDA rage right here,:banana::banana::banana:ing froze my setup with the only 5G run i tried at the end argh lol
Big struggle with wazza tonight, ended up resorting to some old school :banana::banana::banana: and got one decent bonus loop. Also had a single 5GHz run with 1384MHz on RAM with 5m56.6 iirc but the friggin bloody aida crashed the setup and it was all downhill from there. Gotta put the chip on LN2 next time and get uncore up too
Still trying to figure it out though but i'll get there :)

Bit of Yngwie Malmsteen tonight benching till early hours of the morning. Even wife was hanging out, dfuq!
ONE DAY THAT FENDER WILL BE MINE, OH YES, IT WILL BE MINE lol

That's one hell of an IMC to do such PSC clocks/timings on water.
...not to be an arse, but I don't see subtimings on your screenshot, Dino :)
yeah no problem at all. not sure it's anything special. i didnt see any difference between the 3-4 chips i have sitting around here to be honest but i didnt really do this type of testing with other chips with full out LN2 runs and PSC (edit, actually i did with one more but all LN2 with ram at 1370+ and cpu near 6.6). hmmm maybe thats what im struggling with CAS6 though. i might freeze it and see how it goes
another thing, this RAM, damn it really likes cold but i'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to yanking heat spreaders off (yes they are still stock ones). It took me a good 20-30 minutes to get ram to start passing. i actually found if i run 32M while it's slowly pulling down past -100 it helped grab the cold somehow and it starts working better. this is the second time ive seen the same thing where letting it idle to get there is not the same thing as running a bench and bonding a bit better. -110 to -113 is all i managed on the sticks tonight with probe wedged between PCB and heatsink
i did put up memtweakit screen in the thread, just about the same timings man
Splave why don't you say what you are trying to say instead lol
Just for fun..... MFR Single Side is Fxxxing slow !! will try it on LN2.

Played with a bit of BCLK tonight just for fun expecting it to be slow!!!

nice one CN!
i think aida data is basically useless, everyone is on different versions, even subversions of 3.0 are high differentials, we might as well remove that requirement from the thread,
i just wanted to share some info i have harvested, a few guys have been msging me here and on fb asking about temps required for training trcd and cas, so this should give you some idea. of course depending on your imc, each individual ic and your cooling solution, this will differ, but should give you a ballpark for PSC temperatures required
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/8553/ms7s.png
Also a few other things to keep in mind for first time memory subzero
* Dont worry too much about CPU on subzero it probably is not required in most circumstances, CPU on air/water should be fine for tight legacy ICs subzero, I can train/bench 2700 6-9-6 with CPU on water no problems
* Get a baseline on air that you know works but is on the edge, when you mount all your gear subzero make sure that baseline is good, this will save you alot of time
* When you are pulling down you will often need to retrain memory, sometimes around 0 degrees, sometimes around -30, but expect some not exacts as you are pulling down, going into bios and changing 1 memory timing will force retrain
* Use mrc disable when you have your settings locked in, disable mrc re-train on boards that support it, this will give you longer more reliable subzero sessions, more time benching, less troubleshooting
* Watch how much grease you have around your ram slots, if you are having issues, clean the ram with circuit board cleaner
* If you want to train CAS6 TWRRD_DR must be 5 or looser; I may be possible to train cas6 with TWRRD_DR 4, but so far I have not been able to do it
guys I'm going to upload some RAM profiles for X01 bios on TeamAU FB page, jump on and say hello :). I've gotta dig up the board and do the saves but i should have a good base profile which has RLTs/IOLs, timings etc sorted so all you have to do is make smaller adjustments and try get your sticks going. I have some PSC and Samsung IC stuff on there. PSC stuff should be similar to BBSE also.
So got a late start today just finished up doing some no waza testing.

nice man, interested in the 4GHz run also!
Only ran 5G tonight but I am sure 4G will be slow as it has been with every kit I have tested.
Wish I could figure out why so slow at 4G, but at 5 everything seems fine, not sure what to think but I still have a plethora of LN2 for the rest of the week as I only burned through 25 liters for those subs.
In other news my local Fry's finally re-upped on a new batch L316xxx which is way newer than what I have been seeing floating around, hopefully some winners in this one.
First time using this board yesterday, still working everything out will test on cold very soon

Nice bullpro!
err body going hard in this thread, lovin it!
32m is just such s cool thing to do. Anyone can play it you dont need anything special to try & its great fun to better yourself ..... win win
