This is the Microcenter batch number, not the actual memory production batch. maybe this number could help ppl find this exact batch if they are looking for it.
I will look on the mem sticks later and post their batch number.
notice the second picture I posted - same settings, stable, at 1.452V. :)
a true gem.
Have you read the thread or just posted in it?
Hynix/SB 2133mhz 9-11-10-28-1T around 1.55v, golden sticks do 9-11-9-28-1T @ 1.6v+
Samsung/SB every stick does 2133mhz 9-10-10-28-1T @ 1.525v or less.
On SB-E, BD or FM1 the difference is even greater.
I've never managed 2133 prime stable at 9-10-9-28-1T, tho I can boot and do limited benches, so yeah thats a possibility but mega rare though. When every samsung stick does 9-10-10 with ease there's really no question which one you would chose if you were buying blind.
Micron or Samsung is a MUCH tougher choice, though he was only asking about hynix or samsung...
Ok. So I guess Hynix is out.
I haven't done any reading on micron, is there a thread on that here?

Im going to be picking up a 4th and maybe 5th kit soon. Just put together an M5A97-EVO / PHII 830 that they would be perfect for (290-300x14 CPU with ram at 1930-2000Mhz 8-8-8-24).
Trying the Samsung in the Maximus5 Gene. 2600mhz 10-12-12 is as far as Ive been able to go, still trying though.
Assuming youve got all the bandwidth booster options and stuff disabled?
What voltage are you running? If you're not above 1.6v then its a subtiming holding you back. They max out around 1.68-1.7v (you'll need a bit of airflow). Could be TRC in which case youll need to mess with tras and trfc, maybe 2T as well. Cant modify TRC directly on asus boards. Maybe TWR?
There's all sorts of transmission skews available on the rog boards as well, god knows where to even start there!
Even so, mighty clocks at cas 10 considering its a budget kit. Could be pcb limit?
4x4 on M5G. Wont do 32M with this vdimm though, more to come.

still extremely impressive if only for a validation.
im really going to have to get some of these dimms.
I have been unable to get them to even boot at 2800, I was pretty happy with 2600. Spent a lot of time trying, but at some point it would just be easier to try a new kit.
Thanks!
I couldnt get 4x4gb to run 2600, spent a few hours today trying different settings but no luck. Hope you are able to.
I just got these yesterday .. OMG i can't believe how small they are lol.
I am waiting for my z77x ud5h to test them next week. I'm just hoping for 2133 at 1.5v for 24/7
^ I was thinking the same thing when I opened the package, they are kind of funny looking at first.
Will you be going Ivy, or staying on SB? I havent tried them on a Giga Z77, but I would think 2133 will a breeze.
going ivy as soon as I can grab a 3770k
wow im gonna get another set soon as I can rofl
Yeah that's why I did this:
