I would buy the Lanpatry B again . If you look over at AMBMB DFI forums you will see a BIOS engineer posting there to help with BIOS issues and performance .
You dont get that with many board manufactures .
Users have asked ABIT for BIOS issue fixes and have been largly ignored :(
Its a good board with issues like any other , but you can SEE DFI are actively trying to help their customers :)

I'd buy it again as well... Its the only board out there that has the most potential period. Besides, i've tired every other board a few times over and this is already my 2nd DFI board. I've tired ruffly 12 Abit Nf7-S and the last one took my prized unlocked 2500+ Bartons cache! i thought the An7 might be the solid choice but after 3 of them.. not! The last one was the flakiest board i've ever used.. The only thing i havent tried was the Asus board.
Volt-mods are straight-forward, excellent BIOS support from Oskar Wu at amdmb/dfi, scales well right out of the box, seems to have a stable BIOS/CMOS situation (and if you lose a BIOS it seems that DFI will send you a new one, no charge).
I'd hit it - two times :D

Welp after further testing.. the max i can get totally stable in dual channel is at 234FSB x 10.5 at 3.20v 2v vcore.
One more FSB and bam, prime takes a dump pretty quick.. so it could just be the CPU but i doubt it since i've already tried 240 at 10x and same thing.
Quke 3 seems to be fine now.. But the Keyboard issues are still here. I guess i need to buy a cheap USB keyboard and see if it fixes the PS/2 probs.

memtest always says the errors are in the very last section of the 512mb. one stick could be good.:stick:
I'm not sure how far I can go unstable...but I can't seem to break 234 stable regardless of voltages.
If by memtest erring in the very last section you mean the last section of tests 5 and 8, this is often a sign of timings too tight for the FSB. If you can drop back one or two FSB and the errors disappear you've hit the limit of the RAM at that speed.Quote:

it'll run error free upto 234, anything above and it wont, not even when relaxing timings.:(

The Multiplier of my 2600+ was locked on my ol' 8kha+ and free on the NF7, will it be free on Lanparty ? And what's with the L12 mod, does it still work ?
Man, now i've noticed something else happening.. Last night it started and again just today whilee playing Q3.. The whole game would just reload the map outa nowhere. That and this board dont like to power up everytime and most of the time will not warm boot either.. i have to pull the AC plug out and flip the P/S on/off switch a bunch of times and then i can get it to post.
Just a few more little things like bite.. is anyone else out there having issues like these? or do i just have a bad flaky board?
Yes it will be unlocked' on the dfi.. And i idont think you need to use the L12.. i believe that was just something that was usefull on the Abit NF7 board.Quote:
