Maybe me and Pavi both tested in too high ventilated cases. In a small form case (HTCP style), bad flow case (loads of wiring, obstructions etc) or eg cases with older 8cm fans etc, this cooler will do it's job magnificently. As it draws room ambient air in to cool the rad, while a good air cooler has to cool with the higher case ambient air. For those that want a hassle free (easy to install and maintain) and pretty solid performing setup this cooler might do the trick ! Our main editor will put the H50 against another competitor on his testbed. Maybe the results are more in favour of the H50.
Testing is never done :)
It would be nice to see a dual rad version of this kit under 100 euro price. but it will be far harder to mount/install which deviates a bit from the original concept...

Yes, you are totally right. In fact Corsair in its reviewer's guide says that it is important to be sure that the radiator receives a good amount of fresh air and very good ventilation for better performances.Quote:

The scythe Mugen 2 will give you same performance, or close to it for $30 USD.
Why not replace ya Noctua by a Scythe 2 then ? as it will give close performance too... Why buy a classified if you run only 4.2 daily ? People buy stuff for looks, to be cool, to be different, to each his own...
I really find it enterrrrrrrrtaining that most comments are really negative... so easy to be negative, constructive criticism is far more appreciated...
