vince any news on the chipset containers :p:
.
so i wont see swings like THIS when i get my F1-EE?
WARNING: SCREAMING 40mm fans in video TURN your volume DOWN!!
.
Joe_Camel as Blind says, you will not see swings like that, its simply one of the best containers you can buy :)
thank ghod, as a LN2 n00b, i need all the help i can get ;)
(that was from my 2nd time on LN2 ever)
we all started from ground, thats what overclocking is about, sharing, learning and not least support each other
There are also others that have supported and helped me in the overclocking scene, thats the spirit
and as said you will not go wrong with a dragon unit for sure

this thing is a FRICKING BEAST!!!
mounting "ring" insulation done
i'll drill the temp probe hole tomorrow @ work and get down to some "tube" insulation
should be a wicked fun weekend :D
quick question...
temp probe hole...
"up to 1/4" deep hole" parallel with the CPU contact face (1) or the "side" (2) ?
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/7...obeholeer1.jpg
.
I did parallel. Use a nail or something to make first little spot for the bit so it wont slide of.
Joe_Camel, after the guide from Vince, you would like to use you draw number one :)
Cool holdown insulation man! Always good to see how you guys do things your own style that what it's all about, Good luck with your benching and maybe you should post up a vid of the temp swings on the F1 under full load at 2v + ;). Hope you tear it up!!
.
i used some 1/4" foam with 2-way tape i found in the garbage from the company next to ours (bottom)
you could easily do it with some of the 2" x 1/8" insulation tape (top)
you'd just end up with more layers and more seams

a SHARP double sided razor blade would have helped
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/8980/pict0106ld8.jpg
~1/2" total on the outside should do it
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/6627/pict0107wc7.jpg
not a very pretty hole but once you stick it in (the temp probe) who cares what it looks like :p:

ill be SURE to make a vid of the "swing"!!
went to check on the tank today and its EMPTY! :(
guess i went through 35l A LOT faster than i thought
(but with the pour rate in vid, i guess i shouldnt be too surprised)
