Wanted to play with a quad on socket 775 and got a crappy 1.325VID G0, it needs 1.65V bios for 3.6ghz stable. The Abit has massive vdroop so it's at 1.6V when i'm priming, temps are ok with water cooling. I don't care if it burns out in a couple of months, I want some performance out of it, then I'll have an excuse to buy something else if it dies. Mind you I read about some people who ran 1.6V 24/7 for almost a year and the cpu still going strong.
What memory divider are you using? Try a different memory divider. You may be see bettter results with lower voltage. Are you using CPU-Z to verify your CPU voltage? My voltage is set to 1.45v in bios but runs at 1.40 under load and idles at 1.41vQuote:
