Team Group's DDR2 Power: 667mhz 1g dual channel kit CL-3-4-4-8

Update guys: The 3-3-3-8 667 Mhz stuff is in stock (yay!) which means I'll be contacting any of you who were involved in the 3-4-4-8 inventory debacle for replacements :)

Also, we have the 1000mhz memory in stock now as well. Good stuff!

Nicke, what voltage did you use?

2.28 for the 534 run but I don't remember 500mhz dual pi, but around 2.35v I believe.

Should this ram do 400MHz at 3-4-4-8 latencies? And how much voltage should be applied?

TankGuys, any word on a 2 x 512MB 3-3-3-8 kit yet ?

The only problem is, I don't think Team is sending any here - yet. For now, they are hoping to burn through the last of the 1 gb 3-4-4-8 kits. I'll see what I can do though.

even if they do, they prolly will not on the Aopen board.

Alot of people have ram that runs cas 3 on badaxe and it will not run same timings @ aopen.

Ok i have a question about 2X1GBTeamPC2-5300 667MHz 3-3-3-8 and 2X1GBTeamPC2-5300 667MHz 3-4-4-8.I ordered the TeamPC2-5300 667MHz 3-3-3-8 on the 26/7 and i recived them today so far all is good.But when i opened the DHL package it reads TeamPC2-5300 667MHz 3-4-4-8 on the pack and the modules say TXDD1024M667HC3 CL=3-4-4-8.So shall i keep these or return for the others?
Wht say you :D.I payed the same amount as the one i ordered.

Ok but the differance was like 300 SKR = 40$ so is it worth to RMA?

2nd question:

With an Intel 630 I could easily do DDR2 800 with CL 4-4-4-12 (But not CL 5-5-5-12?) and Hyper Path 3 by using manual settings with the ASUS P5W DH (bios 701 and 801). Every mem ratio works fine.

Now with a retail E6400 Core2 duo the system only booting with every memory relating options set to "Auto" in bios and Hypher Path 3 disabled.
This results in poor timings (CL 5-6-6-18) and I only can select manual DDR2 800 (1:1) if I don't go higher as FSB400. In the other case I only can do "Auto" ratio which results in low frequencies. The setting and enviroment is absolutly the same (only the CPU was changed). I checked by reinstalling the Intel 630 and everything worked fine again?

Is there any idea or experience with an ASUS P5W DH (bios 701/801), the 2GB PC5300 DDR2 667 (TXDD1024M667HC3DC) and retail Intel E6400 (Stepping 6 / Revision B2)?
Does this relate to my first question (see above)?

I have to have Hyper Path disabled using 0602 with my Step 4 E6600. 4-4-4-12-4-Disabled-Auto-Disabled in BIOS works fine up to DDR2-945 with 2.2v and using the 4:5 divider. Using the next highest divider results in booting back to stock, but the next highest diver after that, 2:3, will boot fine. Try booting with the 4:5 divider.

Also, what are you voltages set to?

As for your first question, I have a feeling that it reports that in CPUZ because the stick is 1024mb.

2 questions on the 2gb teamgroup sets:

1) The teamgroup ddr2-667 3-3-3-8 -- how high are these clocking 4-4-4-x 2.4-2.5v?

2) Team group ddr2-800 4-4-4-10 -- how high are these clocking 4-4-4-x 2.4-2.5v?

I'm debating between these and the g.skill sets...tough decision.

you have one of the bad P5W DH units.

return it or rma it or whatever but there isnt a fix for that.

mine did that too among other things. and i even have just simple black label oem samsung 667.
if i tried to manually set 1 timing it wouldnt boot.
this was thru several different bios's.

call asus for an rma or newegg or who ever you got it from.
(do you also have no video on post issues ?)

I wonder why the same RAM works fine with my Intel 630? When I switch the CPU back to the 630 everything works fine.
The phenomena only appears using the new 6400 Allendale!?

And i used GEiL DDR2 memory on the same board before without any problems, too.
No other problems (no screen on boot) or so until now.

So any further ideas?

Easy. My friend has one kit of 2x1Gb DDR2 667 3-4-4-8 original OPB tested stuff (at the beginning of this thread), I bought him from OPB, he uses it on P5WD-2 with Pentium 940, and has come up to DDR2-796 3-3-3-8 stable @ 2.3Vdimm, and reaches DDR1000 4-4-4-8 easily.

can anyone of you confirm that the 2GB Teamgroup DDR2 667 will run in combination with the ASUS P5W DH without any problem?
I can't select the timings manually if I use high fsb. Everything above FSB 280 will crash if I don't use the "Auto" option (use SPD timings).
It is ridicules. I know that the RAM do at least CL 4-4-4-12 with DDR800 but I can't use it. Only the SPD ("Auto") settings work with fsb400 and 1:1 ratio.

So in my opinion there are serious problem with the ASUS P5W DH and higher FSB / RAM ratio /timings.

Any idea or experience with the board? Can anyone confirm this?
