w00t :D hope you wont have that darn fsb wall GL with it tyrou .
I have that stupid fsb wall, but around 284Mhz for now, and it goes better and better when the temp lowers :)
How much better? NJKId's cpu is giving me fits. Tops out @ 242 FSB  I may have to try it @ -141C this weekend, but don't even want to waste my time if it only gets me 5 more mhz :p:Quote:

Tyrou your one of the luck ones:) Nice cpu!
Nice results from you two!
Nice results guys,i'm still waiting to play with my stepping 8 es because there are still no mobo's here in the uk :(

I think, I might have a record - not the highest but the lowest clocking T2600ES in this thread :D ?
A QHJJ Yonah (one of the original FCG cpu's)... max 215fsb on air (well, that's with an "upgraded" boxed cooler (with a stupidly loud 70x25mm fan), but nevertheless) :bsod:
Ouch :( that hurts. I dont feel so bad now. My 2500ES would only do 211. The good news is that these are like buses, if one doesn't take you where you want to go, there is another one waiting.Quote:

And,

In my case, loosely controlled around -120~-140deg-C.
I felt that under -150deg-C makes no help.
I don't know CAL930's case, but he shows same FSB limit at both
DryIce and LN2, so I think that even -100 is almost enough...
kiwi> Does running high Vio help here?

Vcca-mod depends on Vio, so it's a main purpose, at least in my case.
mrlobber> A QHJJ Yonah (one of the original FCG cpu's)... max 215fsb on air

Here in Japan, my friends got same results too:(
Only the luck dominates it...
Man that sucks, I have FCG T2600 sitting here. Looks like I might use it for a HTPC rig or soemthing :(
Did some runs last night (its 2:20 am here..) - 01-06 in the morning, am :D
Please note: no mods done, and step4, GFX used @ sapphire x1900XTX watercooled.. (no mods neither)
- MinusTube + LN2
Didnt reboot between runs..
PiFast: 30.98
SPI 1M: 17.375s
SPI 32M: 16m 27.782 (didnt save in paint.. Due to I thought better run would be easy..)
------
GFX ran: 800/900 or 800/930, dont remember, watercooled, no hardmods.
01SE: 49634
05: 15193
EDIT: Sloppy, its sure not that bad, Im quite sure hardmods would give me another 15FSB, that would be 3640mhz - gonna try it sooner or later =) - But dont know if I have enough LN2 left, wasted alot on makin' a bit fun ;)
LOL...I was just figuring if there's a FSB limit, then the cpu should be able to run ALL tests @ the same speed, but obviously that theory can be thrown out the window :p:Quote:

odd, using CAS#3 or ras to cas #2, just make it freeze / no boot here... - No matter memclock etc...
Stephen, you do know 1 aint best as Tras, right ? :p:
Nice CPU you got mate, pair it w1th your x850XTPE, and you got one fast 01SE machine :D
50K should be nooo problemo ;)
Very nice results both of you. I've heard that tRAS 1 sometimes gives a little more headway memory-wise. Shouldn't hurt performance much, if at all.
tRAS 2 can be tricky depending on what modules you got. D9 based something is what I'm guessing for most here, but things look kind of fishy. Seems like some modules are "tuned" for very tight latencies, but have trouble scaling once they're loosened. Others are quite the opposite. Trick is to find what yours likes the best and go with it.
Hehehe...not on Intel ;)Quote:

Thx Gautam
Well, I tested with pifast, best one for me was tras 8, I thought it would be 4, but 8 was best :\
Stephen, go for it mate ;)
Gunning for 16K @ 05 tomorrow, on x1900XTX..
Speaking of memperformance, Tras, tRAS, well.... When you say that on the fly, how do you pronounce it? I'm the only one saying "Trash" ? :p: (enough OT, Im going to bed, hmm, speakin' of pronounciation, FUGGER, how is that pronounced? :D )
Lol...I just pronounce them how they're written - TRAS -> like "trash" without the "h". FUGGER -> like "FUKKER" with two "G's" :p: (or Charles).....Quote:

No mods yet, need to try my other board I guess. You did the Tcore mod for cold boot already, doesn't it work on your board?

I'm not sure exactly what the tcore mod is supposed to accomplish :p: I have no problems booting into windows, but I can't get into bios when sub-zero. The T-core mod allows me to adjust cpu temps ~30C while in bios, but I think I may need a different value pot as this may not be enough to "fool" the mobo into thinking temps are positive ;)Quote:

BTW Tyrou, killer score! Find some more single stages for those cards ;)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...00-3204mhz.jpg
I believe the mod works, but I may be still a bit too cold for the mod to function correctly. The purpose of the mod is to allow your cpu temp to be adjusted with the pot. The mod allows me to adjust temps on the cpu ~30C above actual temp. That pic was using a 20K pot set to maximum value. Please don't show that pic again :p: I'm quite embarassed about the shoddy solder job I did. I've since redone the mod using a 1-turn 100K pot so I could experiment with different values, but in the end I ended up using 21K to max the temp out:Quote:

Does anybody know how the board maker flashes the BIOS on these soldered on chips? Seem to me there must be a way after the chip is in place for a corrupt BIOS problem.
Why do you think your bios is corrupted?Quote:

Joe_Camel, I've looked at your 2005 result, now is that mach II on CPU or GPU ??? // LN2 on CPU or GPU ? :)
my best 05's had: chilly1 SS on cpu and MachII on GPU (see sig)
never worked with LN2/Dice (yet ;))
Ohh, just saw that chilly1 thing, thought it was tube, hehe :D
Wuhuu, seems like my x1900XTX is highest watercooled on tha orb, and more to come, Im kind'a hoping top get top3 =) - More action tonight :)
boot @ 166fsb? or 200? you're problem could be there but then you got a terrible cpu.Quote:

It was an unpleasant surprise for me as well to see the bios chip soldered to the board. Last time I saw something like that in a solid priced board was back in the DFI nF2 Infinity earlier revision days.
I really wonder what do we do if the bios chip got corrupted
One T2600 dead, tried it in my other board earlier today :(
Damn...sorry to hear bro...any idea how?Quote:

aopen guys, im in despair! ever since i got the mobo, ive been getting the CRC failure/error or file corruption error, sometimes i can install windows and the errors occur after. sometimes during winxp installation when the copying of files (right after the hdd format) reach 90-92%, even thats not consistent. i can run 3dmark all day long if im able to install it. i can run the 'burn in' sysoft sandra @ full load, cpu is stable. i can move large files across hard drives non-stop. the CRC errors occur when i try to install nero for ex. or any other large .exe, small applications dont seem to be affected
3 hard drives, same errors
3 controllers, same errors
multi combo of the hard drives/controllers, same errors
hard drives + controllers work fine no issues watsoever
