Some Summer pictures, Car is being made rust free at the moment. Has been DD for a good time now. That includes snow driven sadly enough. :shakes:
1992 Camaro RS. Year old 350 L05 TBI 5.7L/700R4/2.73's. Cars body has 158,XXX miles and Motor/Trans have about 40,XXX.
So far plans right now as said is body restoration, 3.42s, then next year tax return funding a Turbo setup.
My other vehicles are a 1989 Firebird V6 & 1996 GMC Jimmy.
it's a 5.4L V8 fairly aging now he got the 260KW (350-370hP?)model as you can see on the plastic it is to big for the frame thus the bulge lol but sure does make a good sound.
Don't like the rims on his one though
Edit: and yes it is the same engine as the Ford Gt without a supercharger.

I got an 07 Ford Fiesta this October, 1.3 engine. The engine is awfully slow, but for a first car, I think I've done pretty well! :) She was in an "as new" condition when I picked her up, by now it's looking a little tattered! Need to give it a proper clean and scrub down.

Already removed the M5 badge, the Type-R thing on the handbrake, changed the gear knob, bought new tyres and fixed some internal stuff, mounted xenon headlights since the stock ones are weaker than candles.
This year I'm going to fix up the bodywork, give it a fresh coat of silver paint and perhaps, if I'll have enough money, change the trim (maybe an M5 interior with some cream leather) and get some nice 18" wheels (although with the huge craters we have in the roads over here that'll have to wait).
I want it looking kinda like this:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e34...oming-out.html
but with my mirrors (I don't like the rounded ones), no wing on the back and no angel eyes.
Cheers, I guess it's an Aussie take on American Muscle.
Very popular here in Australia, the utes are more iconic than the sedans imo.
As mentioned by Onoff312, it's a 5.4L V8. It's equipped with DOHC and 4 valves per cylinder. It produces 260KW & 500 Nm of torque.
There is too much plastic under the bonnet for my liking but it's not the worst I've seen. The intake plenum and valve covers are just painted with a crinkle style black paint, they obviously aren't plastic, haha.
Never been a fan of chrome wheels myself due to looking to blingy, found these ones have grown on me though, seem to suit the metallic paint.
Wasn't aware that it was a similar engine to what Ford use in the GT. Learn something new everyday.
Nice vehicle nipper!
I once had a 1960 US Ford Falcon Ranchero.

My personal car is a 2001 Z28 Camaro. Guess this is the only picture that I have of it since getting a real camera instead of a phone. Think this was taken after it had been sitting in my parents garage for a few months. Looks even worse now, sits outside and I'm lucky if I drive it once a week.

Right now I'm putting up with a burgundy red Chrysler Cirrus. It's got horrible brakes that smoke and the front suspension feels like its in bad shape. The car rises and falls a lot with the gas, and the car feels like its dragging on the ground when I stop. Also the steering wheel shakes really hard when the car is in gear, while idling... like its directly attached to the pistons. I really really hate this car and this is why I don't plan on buying an american car any time soon. Its only temporary till I get my hands on a used car. This piece of crap belonged to my grandparents. They retired to a home recently and gave my family this car. We'll probably trade it in for the car I'm getting. :) At least it has an upgraded ratio... with a a plastic face that falls off every time I try to use it. If the front suspension and breaks were fixed up, it wouldn't be so bad.... but I just don't feel very safe in it. Thank gawd we're not keeping it long. Probably about a month or so and its outta here.
Well in a few months my car will be paid off and since I lost my bike last summer to a kid pulling in front of me I have had the urge lately to go ridding since it is finally getting warm outside. I had a cbr1000rr, but I have been looking at the triumph 675. Sexy looking bike and has been consider one of the best street bikes for a few years now. I have ridden two of them and must say super fun bike.
I will be getting a blue one like the picture shows. I honestly can not wait to get my damn car paid off now hahaha. I know I dont own it yet, but realllllllll soon I will. Then its back to never being inside and some how spending a lot on money on gas for a bike.

a lot of seriously bad ass cars here, I'm feeling all inadequate now! put new wheels and eibach springs on the car, looking a lot better now! though partially regretting not going straight to coilovers..

next step is larger brakes and axel spacers to bring the rear wheels in line with the front ones. if all goes well and I earn my money this summer, car's getting a 2.0L turbo engine drop! the car seems to have taken over most of my finances....

Since I haven't chimed into this section of the forum in quite some time, I just wanted to let you guys know I sold off my Sprint Blue 2007 Audi A4 and bought a 2010 A4 in Meteor Gray Pearl Effect with the Prestige package, 19" Sport Package, 15 speaker Bang & Olfson sound system, 2.0 Turbo w/6-spd, Quattro AWD, black leather interior. Pretty much fully loaded minus the auto-trans and drive adaptive suspension system (since i'm going to lower this car soon).
I just ran out to take a couple pics. I definitely should have used my tripod, lower ISO, and F2.8 lens (and no flash).

And if anyone is interested. I posted this video over in the news section in a thread about how Audi has teamed up with nVidia to power their Multi-Media Interface (MMI). It's an amazing system and BY FAR the best found in any production line of cars. Especially next year when my NAV system gets upgraded with 100% google earth topography. They've been showing it off in Germany and it's amazing.
This video is my current MMI system. http://www.kalionzes.net/video/Audi_mmi.mkv (112mb)
Here is what the navigation portion will look like sometime later this year with the update.

Love the two Audis.
Also I have a question and didnt want to start a thread just for it. My sister just got stationed in Italy and they are looking at getting a used car instead of drivng hers everywhere cause she says its to new to haha.
How good are Opel cars? She is looking at a 99 Opel Vistra I believe it is called that?
I have posted my truck before but I like these pics better due to being clean. Its a 2005 Ford F250 Diesel. This is my 2nd truck I ever bought my first was a 1993 F150 that Im giving my son for graduation. Oh by the way it is still running with over 200,000 miles on it and has never had any work done to it besides fluid changes. It does how ever needs a paint job due to waxing it to much.
It has the straight six in it. Has automatic transmission with overdrive. I wanted it to have that due to pulling trailers.
Awesome, my 5speed is good for pulling trailers, but you dont have to worry about burning your clutch up with an automatic. The 4.9L (300ci) straight 6 is a legendary engine, an epic torque motor. How many miles it have? Them things go forever. :D :)

93 F150 has 298,564 miles on it. The 2005 F250 has 213,396 miles on it. Have you had problems with the 4x4 transfer case? People have told me the transfer case has some problems with the gearing inside which causes chewing of the gears. What I said earlier I love that T-Bird old and new. Also love the mustang.:yepp:

Opel's reliable? Tell me you're joking
As for this case, from the '93-'00 they were in theirs dark age. Some of the worst engines in Opel's history were produced in that time. Those cars also had a chassis prone to rust in almost no time. Gearboxes also prone to malfunctions. At say 230,000km it needs to be completely repacked or it falls apart if the 5-speed F18 gearbox is being used, the one which has R next to the first gear.
In Germany they have a saying, this is literal translation: "Germans driving Opel are the ones who can't afford a real German car, but must say they are driving one".
Good part is that the replacement parts are relatively cheap and widely available.
I drive Astra 2002. But as opposed to Vectra in case, mine has 1.7 Isuzu diesel engine since both Isuzu and Opel are parts of GM group.
Oh, this was great. At the moment my dad was still using this car, 3 days after warranty expiration, turbo broke apart on the highway. 3000€ total repair costs with labor and transportation to the nearest repair shop.
3 months ago I was on trip, don't know how you Americans call it, the part which produces electricity after the engine has been started(dynamo?) broke down. 150€ repair in total. They are installing both Bosch and Delco parts, but latter is a piece of junk.
Very reliable
But as I love mine because it is relatively cheap to maintain and has very low gas consumption.
Don't laugh too much at my poor little Corolla (I was given it so can't complain about a free car to get from A to B)
http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/2274/img0111z.jpg
The main reason why I still have it is I take it on roads like the one below (If you can actually call it a road!). That particular road is about 150 km with a recommended time of 3 hours (Te Urewera National Park)

who knows what it is?
But isn't it really Golf!? Only sedan is Jetta. Originally if looking what they are called in Germany.. Why are cars always named strange in US market?!? Why the hell was it Rabbit in the past? Or is it still? Opel Omega MV6 was Cadillac Catera in the US and Opel Kadett C-model was Chevrolet Chevette :)

So this car won't stop tormenting me.
Today it ended up in repair shop again. The culprit - alternator
Luckily this time the malfunction manifested itself before the car actually stopped. Say every few days when I ignite, headlights start to blink, all lights inside start to blink (speedometer, radio display, cabin lights) and car starts to tremble at around 1000rpm in second gear - it isn't supposed to do that.
So now it is at the repair shop, tomorrow I'm going to get it and I'm eagerly awaiting to get 150€ lighter again, second time this year.
Last week when these malfunctions started to manifest themselves, I was on highway. In contrast to the fact that I in my experience I never saw four broken cars in the stop lane as that time, I realized all four where BMWs.
Though persons who ought to get coup de grace are allowed to have
cars these days, this sure tells a word of two about reliability too.
This is the last malfunction. One more and I'm getting rid of it plus this is the last time them german pos set it's wheels in my garage.
Got to cars at home.

The old engine is replace by a 2,0 liter 16V from a Triumph Dolimite Sprint stock Hp around 130-140 so it will be pretty quick of the line:)
Figured I'd update this since it's what's getting most of my attention these days:
