Ok... UPGRADE :D
I just the Swiftech MCW30 for the NorthBridge, and the Swiftech MCW60 for the VGA. Even by adding another hot component (The Northbridge) to the loop, my temps have dropped another 1 degree, due to the much less restrictive MCW60 on my VGA card instead of the old Koolance VID-205.

By the way, is 800D used though this part doesn't exist?
Thank you. But what do you mean? Which part doesn't exist?

My first WC rig, I'm hooked!!! Water chiller is the next step, rig is prepped and I've started on the chiller :D

***edit*** (forgot I could list my components on this thread, so here they are)
* Swiftech Apogee GTZ Extreme Duty CPU Waterblock
* Swiftech MCW60-R2 Extreme Duty VGA Water Block Revision 2
* Swiftech MCP655-B water pump w/ Bitspower Premium D5 Pump Mounting Bracket
* Tygon R-3603 lab tubing (1/2" ID, 5/8" OD)
* Koolance hose clamps
* Koolance QDC VL3N quick disconnects (male w/ barbs through case, female angled swivel w/ compression fittings)
* Zalman Reserator 1 Plus V2 w/ active cooling via a large hepa filter
* Arctic Silver Céramique thermal compound for CPU and GPU
* Coolant: Prestone antifreeze/distilled water (50/50) and a few ounces of Water Wetter
Chiller prep on the boards:
* 4 coats of MG Chemicals' Silicone Conformal Coating (aerosol) on front and back of motherboard and graphics card
* Potting compound around and behind the CPU and GPU
* Silicone dielectric grease:
- between the CPU and socket
- packed around the CPU after putting it in the socket
- packed in every connector on the MB (ram slots, PCI slots, power connectors, Sata ports, etc.)
* sheet of closed cell foam between the MB and case
The system itself is finished (as far as I know) but I plan to replace the Reserator with the chiller sometime in the future. This is also my first attempt at wire management, here's what it looked like when I first installed the Reserator kit:

Please pay attention to the rules in the first post (linked in the quote) when posting.
Quote:
Four Simple Rules:
1) No larger than 1280 x 1024 pixel (but 1024 x 768 pixel is preferred),
2) The limit on the number of pictures is 4 per case (if you want to post more than 4 pictures, use thumbnails or post links without using the IMG tags),
3) Do not quote images,
4) Finished cases only, no worklogs.
Optionally, it would be nice if you could list your water cooling components.
The less admins and mods have to clean this thread, the less cranky they will be (btw, I'm neither), Thank you.:D
Thank You, Waterlogged !!!! I was just getting ready to post the Rules again, when I saw your post. And yes, I'm a tad cranky after moving, deleting, and general clean-up.
I hate to clutter the thread posting the rules every day or so, but that may be what it takes.
Folks - the rules are not arbitrary - they were made to keep this thread as readable as possible. Please don't quote images. Larger Pics are not better pics - it's annoying to have to scroll across the screen. If you need help on how to resize your photos, post a question or send me a PM.
Also - a reminder to everyone to have a look at your signatures ... I see a lot of large sigs creeping in. If you want to show your system components, please use a horizontal format with smaller text - you get the info in, but it doesn't take a lot of real estate.
AND, to end on a positive note - lots of nice systems being posted

That is the swiftech x48 block
Nice first post btw! Definitely one of my favorite x48 boards.... unless I'm being an idiot and it's an x38, but... yeah...
@ZvAnA-- Very nice build. Very clean!
Thank you guys.:)
Yes, the northbridge block is Swiftech MCW-NBMAX.
Zvana: Your v2010 looks menacing.
ZvAnA,Great!!:)
A red coolant is wonderful. What manufacturer is it?
Thanks, I'm glad you like.:D
I used Feser One Fluid-UV-Red for coolant.
The ''Borg Cube''. :)
Still some cable management to do, but it's fully functionnal. So it's almost done. :) Lol, I still have to unwrap the top! But I'm to busy gaming!!!! :D

@Cool black, nice f'n rig, the fans are sexy as hell. If I had know they looked that good AND came in 120/140mm I would have did that. Wish CM would come out with 140mm versions of the 120s I have...
I like the Plexi Plate with the EVGA Logo !
Those 45deg rotaries with short tubing can really make case look cleaner with less clutter. Good build.
Dude, iHannes. Nice rig. I wish mine looked half that good.
But get rid of the Noctua. srsly. You have this beautiful black-red build... then.... a Noctua.
Here is my first custom water cooling job. I am still doing some cable management on it though. I got a fan controller and I still need to route all the cables behind to hide them.
This was before I had fan controller and was just making sure no leaks:

Nice, zigzag - Corsair 800D ?
Love your rig, iHannes - great job using the red as an accent.
Sure is shazza, and thanks :)
Studying your v2000 log for ideas, hope you dont mind, have one sitting here ready to be tampered with :D
I made some changes to my setup. Got me some black XSPC tubing with distilled instead of clear Tygon with Fesser red coolant. And added some bitspower fittings to the D-Tek and EK res instead of worm clamps. Hope you all like it.

Love the blue, Screamer - that fan really sets it off.
Nice Nice...
hey guys,
I have a radiator Magicool 360 extreme, will have a difference if I switch to a Feser 360 Xchanger?
@screamer...looks amazing. One question how the heck are your going to access the expansion slots with the res mounted there?
wow screamer! that's so beautiful! love the dreamy blue colors and that fan is absolutely amazing!
Screamer, you have a really nice rig there ;)
there are some very nice water rigs here, thought I would post a few pics.

Blue is craziness
Hey! It's Barney! In... computer form.
Where are you guys getting the color themed motherboards, im seeing ones that seem to have just one or two colors, I can only find motherboards with a minimum of like 5... Are they custom? Just built my cooled rig, no pics. :( In a haf 922, great case btw.
Thanks Guys :)
Res is mounted almost 30mm from the back. There is easy access to expansion slots.

Is it max OC you can get on this voltage?Quote:

The ram is Crucial Ballstix tracer in red so when it's on it has that touch of color! :)
In the one pic you can see that I did some custom LED lighting behind the murderMod logo for the midplate also. Just wanted a hint of red in the system. I might dye the coolant red also.

Yes its the Red+Black weave from chilledpc.co.uk. I like it cause theyre the only ones that sell it so its pretty unique.Quote:
Is it just the camera, or is that sleeving maroon? Also, does the Formula III look so brownish in the dark? I think the flash brought out some weird in that picture.
I have a really crappy camera, so it doesnt look anywhere near as good as it should, but the pcb is definitely black!
Nice rigs lad however Shazza is going to have to release Big Bird......altogether in Sesame street style "1, 2, 3 , 4..... todays number is the number 4" lmao

Im liking the red/green theme there GabryICE :)
GabryIce, I do not believe it is a requirement that a good shot must have its horizon tilted atleast 45 degrees (or oversaturated colours).
I can guess that your rig is probably very nice but I can only look at it squinting hard, because this kind of red and green hurts my eyes!!
Not as fancy as others here.. still needs some work. Gonna play with the orientation of the cpu block.
