You got some D9 Flex this late in the game eh? I lucked out with one of my two kits, it was an RMA replacement from this year that had D9GMH. I got another kit of eBay recently but it's pretty weak, can't even do 600MHz C5 without like 2.45V.

i didn't bought it new, i got it used from eBay 4*1GB for 45€, but the problem is, that DDR2 MoBo can't handle 4*1GB Quad Channel with that memory, it wouldn't even boot:down:, all in all, i'm happy with that memory
Speaking of eBay, I found a seller who has some Transcend aXeRam DDR2-1200 kits for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I inquired and he replied that all the kits have the letter "N" at the end of the barcode, signifying they have Micron ICs.
@shiranui
If you need some OC Hardware, also ddr2 ram Team Xtreem 1300, contact FOX from TEAM O.C.X. , also on hwbot.com :up: he has a lot for sale at the moment
I pulled out my old Ballistix Tracer 5300 kit for some testing on the Maximus Formula+E8400 combo. I had written these off as weak since they don't clock high on CAS5, but I recently realized they're old school RevD that did better on CAS3 and CAS4, so I took a different route. Stock voltage was enough for DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8 dual SuperPi 32M stability on the 333/667 divider at 500FSB.

Guys, I have just sold my Red Devil Cellshock kit..... money needed...100$
A quick question:What brand ICs these BALLISTIX of mine Crucial Ballistix BL25664AA80A.16FE5 wear??are they D9s???
They are 6400 and i can do 1200 6-5-6-15 so?
http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/5430/10530sg.jpg
Well, they aren't Micron RevD, that's for sure, since those are 2GB sticks you have there. D9GMH/D9GKX chips have a capcity of 512Mbit, so 16 of them on one stick would be 1024MB. You've got some 1Gbit chips on those sticks.
I think I found him: http://shop.ebay.com/foxkitos/m.html...&_trksid=p4340
Thank u guys!!!
@a proxis,as i said they can do 1200 6-5-6-15 @2,09.
Pretty good for 33 euros right?Thats the price i got them for in a HOTDEAL in a market here!!
Also i have this question.I am currently playing to find my mems limits under several freq and @1200 auto PERF LVL it shows 1dimm with 8 and 1 dimm with 9??
How is this possible?Could they be running under different PERF LVL??They do work both at 8 but why would this happen?
http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/1501/1200.jpg
I managed to push the Tracer kit to 550MHz Cas4 with ~2.50V (pics to come later today) on the 5:8 divider. I wonder if 1150 C4 is within the realm of possibility.
Well i did some more testing couple days ago .

Ah, the infamous broken 3:5 divider. It's really 2:3, sorry dude.
As promised, here are the results @550MHz 4-4-4-8 PL7 tRFC 25, SuperPi 32M stable with 2.51V (PC Probe is spot on to the DMM measurement). I'm gonna try for DDR2-1150 C4 :D

A kit of Transcend aXeRam DDR2-1200! I had a kit of these last year that unfortunately died after about one month, I can only assume due to the 0.12v overvolt of the Maximus Formula along with no active cooling. I did RMA them but the replacement I got didn't have D9GMH but Elpida  I ended up selling them on eBay.
But as for this kit, do they use Micron ICs like the first ones I had did? If you know about Transcend memory, you know to look at the letter after the barcode on the stickers:
http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/2092/dsc00445o.th.jpg
(I already knew they were D9 before I bought them:p:)
So far, it looks like they only need 2.12v real for their rated speed and timings.

Hi, here are my results with 2*1Gb Corsair Dominator PC9136 and nForce 650i :

The mobo can't go up but i'll receive a TPower i45 this week :D
a holy piece of nice memory you got there, nice results CpmF,:up::up::up:
nice memory too shiranui :up::up: waiting for 1400+ :D:D
Dual SuperPi 32M@DDR2-1300 5-5-5-15-3-30 542FSB 2.45V
I had to switch to my secondary full PC rig with the DK X48 as I accidentally killed the HD3870 in the Maximus Formula open air bench (dropped a Team Xtreem stick on the card and it broke ONE of those TINY components right above the PCI-E connector  ), but that turned out to be a boon. I was able to manage dual 32M stability at 542FSB on the 5:6 divider with 2.45V BIOS set
http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/8...xeramdk.th.jpg
As for bandwidth, I almost managed 11K across the board!
http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/5...l8axeramdk.png
Nice work. I love that board for D9 overclocking, it does it so well.
Nice results Shiranui Gen-An!
well after testing my new Q9650 to find the
lowest vcore for 4500MHz ,i decided to test out my
four sticks of cellshock pc8500 d9gmh's that i got.
i ran each stick with memtest86+ to see which
ones were the best.
the first kit had one stick that could run ddr2-1200
with 2.28v and one that needed only 2.14v in bios.
the other kit had one that needed 2.18v and one that
needed 2.14v.so i took the two good ones and tried
9x500@4500 w/1.37v ddr2-1200 w 2.14v bios 2.09v load.
these two are just as good as my last set of pc8000 cl4 kit.
now i have hope that with this kit and my new Q9650 i can
possibly do 9x556@5.0Ghz ddr2-1333MHz.i did it with my
E8400 lets see if i can do it with a quad core.:D

GoodRAM PRO 900
GoodRAM is not popular in USA I think :D
That's because it's polish factory, they export their products only to central europe.
GoodRAM DDR2 2x1GB are the followed kits:
- 800mhz CAS4 (D9GMH)
- 900mhz CAS5 (D9GMH from april '08, GKX to april '08, later GKX too, as I see)
- 1066mhz CAS5 (D9GKX to february '09, HCD from feb '09)
- 1200mhz CAS5 (D9HCD only)
all of them are built on HJ-M1 ;)
A week ago I bought a kit of 900 and tested it on P965 (commando) with P4 631 Cedar Mill. sorry, but I didn't have anything better at the moment :(

Wow that's mice memory, i always loved cellshock, yesterday i got some crucial ballistix which should be capable of 1300 @ 2,12V, will post results later :d
Good to see someone of the club still playing, for now I can't do anything, I'll give a kit of good old D9 a spin after Christmas!

pity for my chip, not the best. To go back often takes several volts :( http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=878719 2.72v..
@ User111
try 2:3 multiplier
Me teams have increasment about 5mhz @ CAS3 comparing to 1:1 or 4:5
5MHz to do nothing more, I am already so great a success like that, even if the absurd vDIMM. I tried to get them in CAS 4-4-4-12 but I could not break through the wall of 610MHz even with other overvolt
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=880067
and KHX 1200 - D9GKX 6WD22
however, PCB is a no name :/ looks like a HJ-M1, but it's 6-layers

1 gig of this HyperX and a
2x1GB kit of Cellshock 1000 CAS4 straight from RMA
I'm thinking about this for 2 day and still can't decide ;)
what would you choose?
nice results first, with 3Volts, they were warmed up :D:D:D:D i wouls choose the cellshocks, they clock really really goo, especially with low latencies, i have one 1000 cl5 GKX kit, and they did 1200 C4 2,6V 32m stable :D:D:D:D
thanx ;)
mine CAS5 1000 achieved very similiar results
However, this KHX does 1200 @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.42V DOS memtest stable :D
my last crucial 2x1gb ballistix did cas4 1000 2.25v for 6months then on a hot day they took a huge dump now i have single sided crap again
That's what I managed to do between yesterday night and this afternoon 1300MHz 5-5-5-15 2.28v stable http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/329/130055515.jpg
vDIMM not the least, so I can still get

@chad
which stepping is your KHX?
mine 6WD22 is a really good piece of die ;D
and try to push up ballistix ;)

Very nice job
Everytime I see that someone got a good deal on a Corsair 8888C4DF kit, and I get jealous, I have to remind myself that I have a rather neglected Geil DDR2-1160 C4 kit :D
hey shiranui, what abou t yoour team xtreem 1300 kit ? any results there ?
The Team 1300 kit is crap. One of the sticks is clearly degraded.
i too got a team xtreem 1300 kit from foxkitos. i havent been pushing them much voltage wise but so far best results are 1110 4-4-4-12 2.3v, 1066 4-4-4-12 2.2v, 1280 5-5-5-15 2.35v, 1170 5-5-5-15 2.2v more info here:

Memory stock cooling?
Which stepping of GKX IC's you guys think is the best?
I suppose it's 6TD22. 6XD22 on Team 1200 reviewed by xbitabs was about 15MHz worse A CAS4 than mine 6TD22 with same config.
6WD22 is something about 895MHz @ CAS3 @ 2.45V w/ Brainpower
or it's just a lottery ? :D
I do not think that goes a step, I had 3 kit of D9GKX and the best were those of 2007 (for example: 1066 4-4-4-4 2.15v or 800 3-3-3-9 2.3V) (and it was the ram of Hiwa ..)
ps: the mobo that I used with D9GKX of 2007 was the P5K therefore quite coarse in voltages, not the UD3R

I am using 4 x 1Gb crucial ballistix 16FD5. D9GMH according to google. Other marking is CL1118F.CJ & other pair CL1118L.Z8. I RMA'ed my first set and bought another in the meantime. I wasn't happy with two installed so I bought some corsair twinx XMS 4Gb which I ran at stock for till now when I needed the ballistix again to run 5:6 divider on p5q deluxe with q9550.
Just FYI I paid £127.76 for the first set from komplett.co.uk 10/4/07 & £43.46 16/12/07 (december) from dabs.co.uk. I also paid £35.64 on 08/12/2008 for the 4Gb Corsair kit. It was June 09 when the price of DDR2 hit rock bottom.
I bought a kit of OCZ Flex 9200 off ebay recently, the original revision rated up to 2.35v that uses Micron chips. 650MHz C5 on the 2:3 divider was pretty easy on the UD3P.

ok guys...do bad axe II eat d9's for breakfast. It's been a while since i OC'd and everything has been stock for the past year and half or so since i last done it. Before i had 2 Sets of ballistix tracers die and a bad axe go bad and had to rma. Do i need adequate cooling on the memory when oc'ing?
You definitely need some active cooling on the memory. I killed a few kits in my Maximus Formula before I started using a RAM cooler.
oh ok. I guess OC'ing means cooling i never. It saddens me since if you put a active cooler on it blocks the lights from the tracers and takes away the point of having the tracers in the first place. I can't believe i paid 280 for the kid when they came out i felt like a dumbass now. Any suggestions on coolers guys besides the corsair cooler?
If I post a DDR3 D9 shot can one of you possibly identify it for me?
This:

1.92v and I haven't tried lower as, as this is a WCG rig, I can't afford instability. Note the frequency, timings, 100% load and uptime of over eight days. Is this JNL, GTR, GTS...?
i dont get it, my team xtreem 1300s can do 600mhz 5-5-5-15 2.2v orthos stable, doesnt begin to error until 625mhz. yet nothing i do will stabilize it at its rated 650mhz. i have tried 6-6-6-18, pl10, 2.4 vdimm, 1.3 mch quite frankly nothing works :shakes: using the 5:8 divider as its the only one that will lets them scale to 1200 even.
