I seem to recall you having a pair of 10 cores doing not a lot just now. Have you looked at what the result might be of running Those on linux?
current cpu's best day on windows = 31K and on Linux = 43K ~= 38.7% gain though I suspect a bit more with the right wu's
What would a 38% gain do to 10 core numbers? ......and, looking ahead, what happens when you are running dual dualies = 2 x 8 cores and 2 x 10 cores?
